August 2013 This year we did not want a rain vacation so we decided to take refuge in France. And since this is our first time camping with two small children, we wanted to know in advance if it would be a nice and especially small campsite. Against our will, we decided to book a campsite in advance... for the first time in our history of camping. After some research, we ended up at Pébru. What immediately stands out is the beautiful site with good pictures. It looks friendly and good so we decide to make a reservation. Summer is in full swing when we arrive in Pébru from Normandy. A hilly landscape, perfect for doing some bike training miles. Babs welcomes us and shows us our place. Under the trees overlooking the rolling countryside. A place we have reserved for a little week. Because of the small-scale campsite, everyone knows our two-year-old daughter after just one day so we confidently let her play in the "playground" out of our sight. At various times during our stay, all sorts of funny events arise in the evening. We liked it so much that we ended up staying more than a week. We appreciate the personal attention of Babs as the "camp boss". We seldom return to a campground, but in this case, when we come back to this area, it might just happen.
