- Ralf L.July 2017PositivaPeople with an annual pitch very nice.NegativaOwner not interested in us?Reasonable price but who is the owner? We stayed at the Capingplatz for 1 week. I called 2-3 weeks in advance to reserve a pitch for our first time "camping". I was told on the phone that it was not necessary as there was enough space. I also said that it was our first time camping and we would be happy for help in choosing a pitch. When... we arrived there was a Dutch employee at reception, I also told her that it was my first time on a camping vacation with my family (2 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 6) and that I would be happy for help. She gave me a camping map and circled where there would be places for the tent and I should then later tell her which number we had chosen. We had to find our own place, get water and electricity, wash up and sanitary facilities. As well as other things. The so-called children's entertainment didn't take place at all on Sunday as only the Holand woman at reception was on site and on the other 2 days there was simply handicrafts and painting and jumping on the trampoline from 4.30 pm to around 5.30 pm. She didn't bother with the Swiss children, but she did with the Holand children. Our children then stopped going to the entertainment. During the whole stay we only met the Dutch staff. I don't even really know the name of the campsite management, let alone what they look like. I imagined camping to be different. Fortunately, the people on the many permanent pitches are wonderful and very friendly and so we felt comfortable where we had pitched our tent. Our "temporary neighbors" also asked if we would come again. I don't know because we didn't feel so welcome by the campsite management, whoever they are. They even put us in the box on Saturday and that was noticed because I went to the reception on Saturday evening to report that we were leaving on Sunday and I still had to pay. Too bad. Conclusion: Nice campsite with partly outdated, broken and dirty infrastructure. Friendly campsite campers with ??? campsite management. Too bad. Camping again - yes, campsite Simplonblick - ???Automatiskt översatt.
- Rolf M.July 2016PositivaGood location, friendly staff, spacious pitchesNegativaEverything is a bit outdated, but cleanWell located place in the Upper ValaisNice friendly place, many highlights in the Upper Valais are within easy reach. Visitors from the euro zone who paid in cash got an improved conversion rate for the franc, which made the site attractive in terms of price. Site mainly used by permanent campersAutomatiskt översatt.
- R.F.P. S.September 2012Well equipped campsite with good sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, there are no soap dispensers in the sanitary building. The showers are a bit on the cramped side. For the rest a pleasant place to stay. Good opportunities to make trips in Valais, for example to Italy via the Simplon Pass, but also... a day trip around Lake Geneva is possible if you leave early. Further places of interest are Sion and Martigny. The area is also home to some very large reservoirs such as Lac des Dix (450,000,000 m3). Also recommended: the Gornergratbahn in Zermatt and a day trip to Aosta in Italy via the Great St. Bernard Pass.Automatiskt översatt.

- Christian R.April 2012Nice staff. We organized a free Easter bunny hunt on Easter Sunday! Our children really enjoyed it. 4 trampolines available. Unfortunately no toilet paper in the toilets. (not so bad if you know it before you go to the store). Lots of permanent campers on the site.Automatiskt översatt.
