It is not a typical campsite that has its own facilities but more of a thoroughfare, but there is only "camping traffic" which is not disturbing. There are many permanent campers. We had pitch 76 in zone 3 which was beautiful, 1st row directly on the sea and in the... shade until about 14:00 and in the evening a kitschy sunset :) The sanitary facilities were great! It was cleaned at least twice a day and if something was defective it was repaired immediately! The whole thing works with a badge system because otherwise everyone would use the public sandy beach 200m in front of the campsite.
The only thing that is special is the access road, you drive along the beach promenade between the restaurants and restaurants, which can be very narrow for some motorhomes. I would recommend taking a look at Google Street View ;)
The town of Murter is nothing special. There's a supermarket and a bakery within walking distance (about 1km).
However, the restaurants in Murter are far too expensive despite the high season.
The pizzeria and the restaurant on the beach promenade by the campsite are highly recommended!

The place Murter is nothing special.
For shopping you have to go directly to the village, there is a pedestrian path to Murter about 1 km.
Restaurants are within walking distance.
The beach Slanica was a bit too crowded... for us, so we went swimming directly at the campsite (here a few steps lead into the water at almost every pitch in the 1st row) The entrance itself is a bit difficult but you are almost alone here.

No hot water when washing up.Nice CP right by the sea, unfortunately not always quiet.Access to the campsite is via a narrow road, there is little space to park at reception during check-in, and the reception staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. The pitches are arranged in terraces along the road, so the access roads are steep. There are shady pitches in the lower area. In the first... row you are right by the sea. There is a small supermarket in the large parking lot in front of the campsite, otherwise you can shop in the village at Konzum or at the market in the village. There are also several bakeries and a butcher. The sanitary facilities are very clean. Unfortunately, you can only go in and out with a chip (wristband), which I find very annoying. Especially at night, if you don't have a chip with you, you can't go to the toilet. Unfortunately there is no hot water for washing up, it is lukewarm. Rinsing greasy pots and pans with it is tedious. The peace and quiet is not always great either: guests are constantly driving along the road on mopeds, motorcycles (Croatians), cars and camper vans. If you sleep right next to them, you get the impression that they are driving right past your head. There are also a few motorboats making a racket on the beach. Otherwise the campsite is very nice. The pitches at the front by the sea all have electricity and their own water connection. Before Pentecost the camp was totally empty, since Pentecost it has filled up, but you hardly noticed this due to the elongated location.... My concerns about noise because it was right next to the road were for nothing. There was only one evening (the start of the vacations in Croatia) when young people were riding around on their scooters for a long time. And if you take a place right at the front of the reception near the bar, you have to allow for the noise. There is music playing! We were at the beginning of zone II, so you couldn't hear a thing! A big thank you to the team who were on duty all day and kept the sanitary facilities in order. I can't understand negative reviews about the cleanliness, it's clear that not everyone can be cleaned up after everyone! And if there are "ScHweine" who leave the facilities dirty, it's just sad. I also experienced this once in a shower (totally filthy) - I took the other shower, after an hour everything was clean again - don't forget - this is still camping and not a 5 star hotel! And we used the front facility, which was still the oldest. I can't confirm that there is a dog beach, it's a bit outside the campsite and you have to walk a bit. Many people went swimming there without dogs and it was clean! As we are traveling with dogs next year, I have observed this. But below the pitches on the rocky beaches, where there are none, dogs can come in at any time and nobody minds. I think it's perfectly ok not to shower with the shoes you wear on the way to the shower - there were negative comments here. Bring flip-flops, which are only put on in the shower, you don't have to be barefoot. The reception staff were always friendly and helped immediately, I had an accident and needed a doctor quickly - they immediately looked out the nearest doctor and asked there. If you don't have high standards when it comes to hygienic conditions, this is the right place for you. The internet is also a disaster. There you could buy food in the very well-stocked Coop. Bread was not yet available on the pitch. With acsi about 20 euros for one wash 7 euros. That's a rip-off. Sanitary super clean. Crowded place.Lovely place in MurterIt was crowded in the first week of July. We were close to the reception, and it was a noisy place due to the loud music in the nearby pub. Othwerwise nice place with rather small pitches for family tents. Saniters were OK. Good for small kids. Slovenian people ruled the landscape as in every campings... in the croation cost. The problem with them is that they are usually rather unfreandly, not even say hello even if neighbours for couple of days. This is rather crude and unusual behaviour for us.Automatiskt översatt.
