What is surprising with this high level of comfort: There... is no toilet paper in the toilets, no soap for washing your hands, not even a hook for a jacket or toilet paper that you have brought with you. Very loud!All that glitters is not goldWe became aware of the campsite based on its reviews and the pictures we saw. Now that we are here, we are disappointed. There is neither toilet paper nor soap in the toilets, let alone a hook on which you can hang your rain jacket, for example... The sanitary facilities are new and nicely designed,... but they could be cleaned better and more thoroughly. In general it is very noisy on the site and by that we don't mean that children playing bothered us, but the location on the busy road and that there is always someone doing something loud, from the leaf blower to the lawnmower etc.... We certainly couldn't sleep in and relax. Bathing area offers all possibilities (slides, whirlpool, current channel, swimming - not possible due to overcrowding). Pitches on grass. Unisex sanitary area, nice and clean. Self-service restaurant with pizza and some other dishes... at reasonable prices. Bar, but no market. A nice site in itself, but if you don't have children and are looking for peace and quiet, you should choose one of the other sites in the area, at least in the high season.Automatiskt översatt.
Guntram H.June 2011An excellent site at the entrance to the Pyrenees. We have never experienced such a bathing and thermal landscape at a campsite before. Beautiful, flat, spacious pitches. Dozens of rabbits do the lawn mowing. Sanitary facilities clean and adequate. The store and restaurant were not yet open at the time... of our visit in the low season. Bread is available from a bakery outside the site about 5 minutes' walk away. Ideal starting point for bike tours (Aubisque, Tourmalet, etc) but also hikes. Lourdes is also not far away, but probably too far to reach by bike.Automatiskt översatt.
