- Bernd D.September 2017Positivanone, except near hamburgNegativaThe entire site is extremely soggy, everything is wet, the site operators are rather unfriendly and reluctant to respond to tipscamping in the mudworst place I have ever seen! everything muddy sanitary everything dirty and not heated showers free of charge, but does not get really warm very long ways to shopping at night very dark on the square very long way to the toilets accordingly strange are also the operators of the place, are friendly trying but you notice the unnaturalness behind it or you feel more like a nuisanceAutomatiskt översatt.
- Alexandra S.July 2016Positiva-NegativaNo shopping facilities. Bad sanitary facilities.Only for transit or a visit to HH. Mainly permanent campers.Compared to other places we visited, this was by far the one where we had the most unpleasant feeling of having landed. Although the site is logistically well located for short visits to HH or an overnight stay on a trip to the north, we would not recommend it for a relaxing weekend or even longer. There... are also reasons that may or may not weigh heavily for some: There are no shopping facilities on the site/no bread rolls/not even ice cream, even during the vacation season. The nearest supermarket can only be reached by car/restaurants too. The operator is superficial and forced friendly. His groundsman is ok. The pool is a pool with the specified dimensions, but nothing for smaller children, as it has a water depth of 150 cm throughout and not even a ledge at the edge. It also fills up in no time. The tent-caravan meadow is at the end of the campsite and you have to go through the permanent campers, plus the sanitary building is ages away. From the tent to the loo at night? I imagine it's scary and it's quite a few meters. But it's still by far the nicest thing about the site, next to the playground and the football pitch. The sanitary facilities are old and people smoke in them, which sometimes leads to really unpleasant smells. We have a Porta Potti for emergencies, which had arrived here. All in all, I would advise families or groups with children against this site. Transit and HH visits yes. Short-term vacationers are more of a nuisance on the site. Many permanent campers...Automatiskt översatt.
- Ralf S.June 2015PositivaShowers are free and there is a small outdoor pool on siteNegativaThere is nothing to buy on the square except gas, the kiosk that is supposed to be there according to the advertisement has not been there for years. Not recommendedThe campsite is very quiet and is also ideal for trips to Hamburg, Bad Seegeberg and other major cities, but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired in the showers and toilets, the mold germinates, etc..Automatiskt översatt.
- Lutz H.December 2013Very niceIn the period from 28.12.2013 - 02.01.2014 we visited the campsite Ulmenhof in Henstedt-Ulzburg, it is located about 20 km from Hamburg. The owner is very nice and we felt very comfortable. The campsite is very informal and quiet. The sanitary facilities are clean. In our time it had rained days before... and the other pitches were muddy, but you can't avoid that. We were on a paved pitch. It's a good starting point for Hamburg, at €16.50 a night + electricity per kilowatt in the low season it's cheap. We would gladly visit this campsite again.Automatiskt översatt.
- Matthias Z.August 2012Rarely have I had the impression that the owner has such a great interest in the well-being of his guests, and in an unobtrusive way! Ideal for a stopover when passing through. I spent the weekend there and did a lot of cycling. Despite all the rain in the last few days, the lawn is in good condition... and immaculately maintained. The pool is ideal for swimming a few laps. The toilets are ok, the showers could be improved, but don't cost extra. Travel time to Hamburg about 40 minutes at 30 km without highway.Automatiskt översatt.
- Holger J.August 2010Nice operator, well-managed site. Not far from Hamburg.Automatiskt översatt.
