Sanitary facilities were only available to a limited extent due to the corona pandemic. Bread roll service in the morning. Restaurant was unfortunately closed due to Cororna pandemic, but there was a food truck on site.
Good starting point for cycling and hiking....
We were right by the river. The road in front of the campground is driven a lot and terribly fast. In the tunnel near the campsite they give extra gas. This causes a lot of noise nuisance. In the morning at 06:00 the freight... and other traffic comes on. It seemed like they drove through your caravan. This was also the reason why we only stayed one afternoon and night. The pitches are very uneven. Fresh water and electricity partly far away from the pitches.Nice campsite with restrictionsWe were there with 2 couples the last weekend in April for a red wine hike. The site is actually very nicely situated directly on the Ahr. Actually means that the car noise can be heard very clearly from 6:00 am. The railroad line is about 200 m away. You can also hear the train braking and starting... up from there. However, the transport links are very good. The sanitary building is quite new and was clean at all times. Some of the pitches are very uneven. The fresh water supply is sometimes quite far away from the pitches. The same applies to the electricity supply. The Acsi card was not accepted because although you are listed there, no discounts are granted (only in the main catalog).Automatiskt översatt.

The site is approx. 10 km from the A61. Registration went smoothly via an intercom system. We had clarified this on the phone beforehand. Located in a wine-growing area. Pitches not parceled out. Positive: Very clean site. Seasonal... pitches, permanent campers, unused permanent camper pitches > everything in picobello condition. Children's playground, "main building" with sanitary facilities also make a perfect impression. Could park in front of the barrier. Not so good: bread rolls only if ordered in advance, hot showers only with tokens (no longer up to date for me), demarcation of the site by railroad line and main road with tunnel end. The road wouldn't even be so bad if the heroes of the highway drove normally in the tunnel and didn't cause unnecessary noise by revving engines. That's a bit annoying. But it's not the CP's fault. As there is enough space, the registration and search for a pitch is very relaxed. They didn't respond to my reservation requests, but it doesn't seem to be necessary, as there was enough space even on Ascension weekend. The... road and the train - well, we're not sensitive and slept well. There is no WiFi or only in the reception area (and it didn't work there). Located with direct access to the main road. Train station in the immediate vicinity Thus a good starting point for hiking and cycling. Thanks to the local infrastructure, this is a great leisure activity. The wine villages are easy to reach. The campsite has modern facilities.... I would have liked to give one more star for friendliness, but this was lacking on departure. The pitches on the Ahr are not paved and are in a meadow. The proximity of the very busy road naturally generates noise, but after a short period of acclimatization it no longer bothered us. Compared to similar sites on other campsites, the price seems a little too high. Not all services available. Expensive WLAN connection. We did not regret it. UNDERSTAND SOME PEOPLE HERE DIDN'T WRITE ABOUT "CHEAP PLACE" AND "UNFRIENDLY". Sure, the site is on a main road, you know that beforehand. The fact that there are no stagecoaches with horses on this main road but cars... and motorcycles should be well known in 2017. Noise from the road and train did not bother us. At night we slept great and undisturbed. Staff/owner very courteous/friendly! Sanitary exemplary. Place well maintained. Price/performance ratio completely in order. Ideal for fishing enthusiasts! I will definitely visit the site again. Greetings to all the grumblers who think they have always found something everywhere. - Dorothee S.July 2016Great location for excursions and hikesVictoria Station again and again! We have been going to this site for years, sometimes for the weekend, sometimes for a week or two. It is a good starting point for tours into the Eifel and for exploring the Ahr valley. Motorsport fans can be at the Nürburgring in about 1/2 hour. The operators are very... friendly and helpful. We always feel completely at home there. We stayed at Viktoria Station again in July/August 2016. The bad flood damage from June had been almost completely repaired, it was a lovely stay as always.Automatiskt översatt.

We were there for 5 days now and were thrilled, the staff very friendly free choice of pitch and must also give a big compliment to the cleaning staff I have never seen such a clean sanitary facility, whether camping... or hotel, you could eat from the floor day and night it was so clean. On the negative side I have to say that the location is on a star road and during the day it is more noticeable than expected, because the nürburgring is about 20km away and some people make the big noise with their cars. At night you can hear almost nothing and if you are further up the square you should hear almost nothing. Another negative is that you have to lay your power cable across the path and a few cars drive over it. We had two children with us who could let off steam in the playground.Automatiskt översatt.
