The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the site and the proximity to the sea won me over. The now renovated main building and the wonderful Italian restaurant are just two of the improvements made in the last year. Admittedly, I... would be happy to have a few more toilets, but I never had a long wait. The Easy Bee dishwasher is a nice gimmick. My son was only annoyed by the very poor Wi-Fi reception. Unfortunately, there is still room for improvement in terms of organization. Only two shower cards were available for 3 people on arrival. The third had to be issued on request against a further deposit and with corresponding credit. The shower cards also functioned as barrier cards, so you... always had to remember to take the cards with you. The credit time on the shower card calculates 20 cents per minute as soon as the card is inserted, regardless of whether water is running or not! As I have already read in other reviews, the number of showers and toilets is very limited. In two sanitary buildings there were a total of 5 men's toilets and 7 women's toilets. Clearly not enough during rush hour. The new Italian restaurant Piazza is particularly chic and good. Very friendly staff, great food at, admittedly, not very reasonable prices. There is an extra children's washroom, at first glance quite nice, but unfortunately only 1 toilet (anyone who has children knows that sometimes it has to be done quickly) and there are people who shower their dogs here!!!! W-LAN did not work at all. We only went to the restaurant once. After none of the 3 chosen dishes were available and our salad was forgotten, this was the only visit. A total of eleven showers and toilets per gender are simply not enough. The sanitary buildings are only cleaned in the morning. You always have to pay by chip for hot water, even when washing up. I know it differently. The supermarket... is really only a makeshift solution, as it is expensive and poorly stocked. There is no WiFi on the pitch, unless the W stands for "wait". 800 meters to the beach doesn't sound like much. But if you are traveling with children, you know what you have to take with you. A bicycle or handcart definitely makes sense. However, the staff are always friendly and always keen to solve problems. After 2 extremely relaxed weeks of vacation, I would like to briefly introduce you to the site. If you are looking for relaxation in Holland during the high season, want to be away from the big tourist sites, but still want to have a short walk... to the beach, this is the right place for you. The family pitches are arranged in sufficiently large plots, about 8-10 plots form a pitch surrounded by hedges. There are small sand play areas in the middle so that the kids don't get bored. There is a small mini market at the usual high prices and a bistro and snack bar. There is also a large sand playground and a swimming pool on the site. Due to the location, you can reach many destinations in Zeeland or Belgium by car and you won't get bored. There is a large indoor playground in the immediate vicinity (2km) for a fee. Of course there were also 1-2 points that - let's say not positive - stood out, but that would be complaining on a high level. We noticed that you have to pay for hot water everywhere, i.e. for showering, washing and washing dishes. The chip is timed and so it adds up to a pretty penny in just 2 weeks. Furthermore, the water in the pool is very cold, even colder than in the sea. But when it's sunny it's not a problem. The animation is in Dutch, but some animators speak very good English or even German. Furthermore, it is too well-intentioned and overshoots the mark, for example, we wanted to take part in the nightly haunted run and found ourselves within 10 minutes in the dark with sneakers in a freshly plowed field. Or sat with the toddlers playing family bingo until 11.15pm because it didn't stop before then. All in all, we really enjoyed our vacation, even if Zeeland wasn't so good with the weather this time, the rain on-off days were a bit annoying.
