Pots, cutlery etc. available in sufficient quantity for 4 people. Schäferwagen is right at the beginning of the site = short distances to sanitary facilities => good with a small child.NegativaWithout a car or bike, you always have to walk a long way. In front of the Schäferwagen were the pitches that were occupied by short-term campers. There was a constant change here. Schäferwagen heats up a lot during the day. Unfortunately, we didn't have mosquito nets on the windows. Unfortunately, there was little natural shade at lunchtime, although there were relatively many trees and hedges. There was virtually no shade on the tent meadow.Bicycle vacation in a shepherd's wagonWe had rented one of the shepherd's wagons. This is right next to a play area and the petting zoo. And relatively close to the sanitary facilities, which meant that we had short distances and were very happy. The catering was also good, there was a small menu with regional dishes. Even though a few things... bothered us, we had a wonderful vacation.

Even the reservation on the phone was super uncomplicated, just giving your name and the duration was enough. We were there as a couple. There are various events on offer for young and old. The dishes are simple... and delicious at fair prices. There is beer on tap. The sanitary facilities are very clean and the showers are huge. Well-developed cycle paths lead from here to various places on Lake Constance. For families with children there is a petting zoo, playground and play area. Bread roll service is offered. We felt very comfortable because the atmosphere is so pleasantly informal. You can tell that one family runs the whole campsite. It was super nice, we will definitely be back!Automatiskt översatt.

Within walking and biking distance a grandiose beautiful recreational lake for swimming and sunbathing, completely free. Only 7 km. from Lake Constance with cozy towns with half-timbered houses, cozy markets. Lindau we found a beautiful place on... a peninsula. On a Saturday night a complete brass band in costume with pleasant music. Food and drink at the cozy reception. We liked the pitch on the tent meadow, as the children had plenty of space to play on the meadow. Nice clean sanitary facilities, lots on offer for small children: vehicles, animals, horse riding, playground... The operators are very nice and take great care of their guests. We... loved the Easter bonfire and the covered wagon ride to the meadow for the children, where they were allowed to look for Easter nests. And all at no extra cost. A great experience for the children and us It was also very nice that the children could go in to stroke and groom the animals at almost any time... However, I didn't think the little pied pony was suitable for children to lead around the place on their own, as it often escapes and has already bitten a few children. Not suitable for people without horse experience. I think an introduction for the children on how to handle the ponies would be useful here. The pony's hooves were also in terrible condition, far too long and with long cracks in them. They urgently needed to be done. The donkey was very well-behaved, as was the goat. But in general, I think it would be good if the children were introduced to handling animals and had some guidance. For example, there were also children who chased the sheep across the meadow just for the fun of it. We didn't like that. I see room for improvement here. But otherwise everything was tip-top.
