The washrooms are very old, defective and in a very bad condition.

We stood on pitch 13, i.e. at the barrier. Every 2nd person drove in without registering and stood in front of a locked barrier. The hardest case was one who tried 7 times until he drove to the registration desk. We felt like an information booth.... A camper van arrived at 11.30 p.m. and also had several attempts. This should be made clearer beforehand..... Where do the campers have their heads?
Price/performance is OK, sanitary blocks clean and accessible 24 hours a day.

- Andrea H.September 2024Rather not.The allocated area within the dog zone was very close to neighboring dog owners with no visible boundaries or fencing...more of a camp atmosphere...we didn't even get out but left the area immediately. Complaining seemed pointless to us due to the general lack of space in the allocated dog area. We then... found a small campsite nearby where our expectations/territory conditions were fully met. Conclusion: Probably okay for mainstream campers. We, on the other hand, just wanted to get away quickly.

The sanitary facilities were clean. Few places to wash the dishes, which led to waiting times although the place was not fully occupied. Direct beach location - top! The pitches take some getting used to and you have to be able to maneuver. We were... given instructions, which was good. We didn't pitch our tent, at 3 meters long it's a bit too big for the other campers with cars and caravans to get past our pitch, as you stand one behind the other on a narrow field. Other pitches are much better at this. The wattwieker restaurant and the beach bar on the beach definitely earn the site a lot more points. We felt very comfortable.Automatiskt översatt.

I didn't like one or two things this year.
I find it very annoying when I register with my dog and you can't even go to the dog beach because every other person lets their dog run free. Be it that the dogs are sent into the water with toys by taking the dog off the lead, throwing toys... into the water and letting the dog chase after them regardless. No consideration is shown for other dog owners or, what I personally find even worse, for families with children who also want to get into the water. The dogs run around playing freely on the dog beach and jump over the barrier to the dog-free beach. Again, no consideration is shown for children and other people.
When I complained to reception that dogs were simply being left unleashed in the water on the beach, I was told: "I don't even know if there is a leash requirement in the water." What kind of stupid answer is that? Either there is a leash requirement or there is not. When I asked that it would be nice if they would check, nothing happened. The same game every day.
I was also annoyed that there are no checks that cyclists dismount at the playground. They simply ride past the playground in the direction of the beach without any consideration. If you say something because you don't think it's okay, you also get insulted.
Greater control would also be desirable here. But I think something has to happen before people react.
I also have a suggestion: you have the largest and best-kept free run for dogs to date.
Even last year I thought it was a pity that the fence was in a desolate state. It would also be nice if the railings were completely fenced in so that the dogs could not run near the houses or on one side over the stream to the cows or sheep.

Made lots of new friends. The sanitary facilities were satisfactory and clean as they are containers and we were pleasantly surprised. The sink at the dog area is built for giants. At 1.66 tall you get long arms. Staff... very friendly. The ditches between the pitches could do with being cut more often. We will definitely book again.
