"Quiet location, beautiful place - We were at the campsite for an overnight stay on our way north. We made a spontaneous enquiry by phone on the way. There was a family price for families with two children. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi is not included. The site is in the middle of the countryside and very quiet. The pitches are well-kept, a large area is for permanent campers. Our pitch was on grass and the car was parked on the pitch in front of it. The playground is okay (swings, seesaw, climbing frame and slide) by the lake. The mini golf course was unfortunately overgrown and unusable. However, the children have plenty of space to run around as you are in the middle of nature. Toilets have 70s charm, there is only a small sink with cold water for washing hands. The showers have seen their best days. The joints urgently need replacing. The only positive thing is that the cubicles are large, there is a stool and enough hooks. Cleanliness was okay - of course it depends on the camper. Unfortunately it is a bit cold in the room. Practical showers. You don't feel comfortable. According to the notice, the facility was handed over to new tenants on May 6 (we were there afterwards). We hope that they will invest a little - there is potential. We did not test the restaurant. The pitch could only be paid for in cash. Nearest supermarket approx. 2km away. I would come back for 1-2 nights, for a longer stay I would prefer something else with children.

"Quiet campsite near Kassel - We stayed at this site for a long weekend. The pitches for tourist campers are flat and grassy. The sanitary facilities are very spacious. The showers (huge) looked a bit outdated, but like all the sanitary facilities they were super clean and well maintained. The restaurant on site offers schnitzel etc. of a decent quality. The campsite operator and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back.

"Beautiful campsite on the outskirts of an old half-timbered town - Very nice campsite, divided into tourist and permanent pitches. All necessary facilities are available: Sanitary facilities (very spacious showers), scullery, washing machines/dryers, gas sales, but unfortunately no bread roll service. Mini golf course. Restaurant (super tasty schnitzel at moderate prices and local beer). The site is a great starting point for hikes to the Dörnberg or the Habichtswald. Very nice site operator. Due to its proximity to the A44, the site is also ideal as a stopover.

"Short weekend - We arrived at the campsite at short notice and were able to have a comfortable and good dinner in the restaurant. The pitches for transients/short campers are tight but ok. Staff very friendly, the surrounding area invites you to go hiking. Bread roll service to the WW.

"Beautiful landscape - We only stayed at this well-kept site for a short time. Nice owners, flat terrain and well-kept and large sanitary units. We had a pleasant and quiet stay. We didn't visit the restaurant, so no rating.

Directions to Campingplatz zur Warme: Our campsite is in Zierenberg, near Kassel. Take the A44 motorway and exit at Zierenberg. Follow the B251 towards the town center, then turn right onto "Im Nordbruch" street. After a short distance, you’ll arrive …at your destination. The campsite is well signposted and easy to find.
