- Gerhard F.November 2024PositivaNice staff, typical Greek cuisine. The sea is great.NegativaDoes not exist.Pure Greece.A perfectly run campsite all year round. The cuisine is typically Greek. The pitches are very well laid out, mostly with sea views. Simply well-being in Greek!Automatiskt översatt.
- Werner Z.October 2022PositivaVery quiet location, very close to the beach. Only a narrow access road in between.NegativaWith motorhome over 7 m lg a bit narrow but access quite possible.Beautiful campsiteVery clean toilets and showers, washing machines available. Open all year round. Minimarket and restaurant closed from 15.10. Chef cooks on Fri, Sat and Sun on table reservation.
Beautiful sandy beach, very clean sea, partly stony ground. Beach shower available.
W-Lan on site, but not the fastest.Automatiskt översatt. - Andreas p.September 2021PositivaSmall place, great sea, super beach, friendly and helpful staff, sanitary area super great for Greek standards.NegativaI can't think of any.Great placeAfter we arrived at the Anemolinos campsite and the people at reception made little effort to find us a pitch, we drove 600 meters further to c.P. THINES. We were warmly welcomed there and were immediately allocated a pitch. The sanitary facilities were very clean and were cleaned several times a day. Beach via a path with little traffic, super clean with sunbeds and umbrellas. Fine pebble beach. Highly recommended, would come again at any time.Automatiskt översatt.
- Walter R.September 2019Beautiful placeVery nice CP, everything tip top, the beach is very spacious. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. All in all a great place!Automatiskt översatt.
- Carsten S.July 2018PositivaDirectly on the beachNegativaNo toilet paperThe best in FinikoundaVery nicely laid out, clean and well thought-out CP. Plenty of shade. The sanitary buildings are simply Greek and clean. Only minor repairs are needed (loose toilet seats and taps, clothes hooks missing). You can do that too Theo. Sufficient canteen and bar ok, just a bit too expensive. Free sunbeds... and umbrellas on the beach. One star deduction for lack of toilet paper. Stupid when everyone walks around the campsite early with a roll under their arm. 50 cents more per person per day would solve this unpleasant problem. Free Wifi - works.Automatiskt översatt.
- Gérard d.May 2018PositivaQuiet, right on the beachNegativafar away from FinikoundaFriendly place in FinikoundaWe looked at all the places in and around Finikounda. We excluded Méthoni (unattractive), Anememilos (too full), Finikes and Tsapi (too difficult to access). We liked Thines, even though the pitches are a bit small. Finikounda is 1 - 2 km away, which is why Anememilos is more popular. Tsapi is 8 km further... on in a secluded bay, but can only be approached carefully with small motorhomes or caravans - there are 2 tavernas and a dream beach, nothing else. An insider tip for all off-roaders!!! Thines, on the other hand, is the average of all things and hardly overcrowded, so it's great. Remarkable are the constant overflights of highly motorized aerobatic planes of the army, about 8 hours a day howling! Prices quite expensive (good supermarket in Pylos), beware of scorpions and rather aggressive millipedes from May onwards. Since 2016 there has been an increase in break-ins in secluded places by wandering Roma.Automatiskt översatt.
- Stefan H.August 2014PositivaVery well-kept site with clean sanitary facilities. Finikounda is within walking distance.NegativaSmall pitchesSmall but nice placeThe site is in the immediate vicinity of Finikounda and other campsites. We looked at all the others and finally decided on this one. The site is almost directly on the beach and is only separated from it by a small road with very little traffic. The pitches are all parceled out and are unfortunately... relatively small. There can be problems with larger vehicles, but the operators were flexible and offered us 3 pitches for the price of 2 (we were traveling with friends) during the main season. Most of the pitches also have plenty of shade thanks to natural vegetation or matting roofs. The pitches are very well maintained and filled with gravel and separated from each other by well-tended shrubs. The sanitary building is large enough for the site and was cleaned several times a day - overall very well maintained and clean. There is also a small bar and a small supermarket on the site. However, the latter only offers the essentials, such as bread and pastries. The campsite does not have its own taverna. The adjoining beach is spacious but slopes very quickly and steeply into the sea. The beach is also interspersed with large, coarse pebbles, making it less than ideal for small children. Sun loungers and umbrellas were provided free of charge. You can walk from the campsite to the small village of Finikounda in about 10 minutes. There are several small stores and tavernas right by the small harbor. There are also other tavernas just outside the campsite.Automatiskt översatt.
- gudrun o.September 2013PositivaQuiet, nicely parceled out, perfect (pebble) beach for the children, with loungers/umbrellas, large kitchen incl. fridgeNegativa20 min walk into the citySmall but mighty! We were here in 2013 at the beginning of September with two children (2/5) and although we always like to get to know something "new", we have booked here again for 2014! Quiet, safe for the children, parceled out with green hedges, plenty of shade. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place... for you, but if you want a cozy vacation, this is the place for you. However, we cannot judge how it is in the absolute high season. The lack of a restaurant is compensated for by a taverna 100m away directly on the beach, which is open all day and has a great selection of good food.Automatiskt översatt.
