"Well equipped, but restless - Overnight stay from 25.08. to 26.08.2017. The pitch is still very expensive at the very end of the main tourist season, over €40.00 for 2 people with a camper van, without animals, with electricity. Our main point of criticism: No mention is made at check-in of a disco event taking place as part of the entertainment, which lasts until 11:00 pm and can be heard right up to the end of the pitch (in the area of the center of the pitch, our location, i.e. a medium distance from the venue: very loud). There is no willingness to reduce the price because of the noisy evening without leisure or night-time rest, but instead a succinct reference is made to one of the various notices on which the event program is printed. This is a campsite that is absolutely not suitable for travelers seeking peace and quiet during the entertainment periods. In my opinion, the description of the ACSI as "atmospheric" should not be understood as a warning to this effect. The "E" for "quiet during the day and at night" is not justified

The Domaine de Gil campsite is idyllically located in the middle of nature in the charming village of Ucel in the southern Ardèche. The 4-star resort offers everything your heart desires for a relaxing and unforgettable holiday. The site has …spacious pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as comfortable accommodation such as mobile homes and safari tents. The accommodations are modern and offer space for up to six people. Some accommodations have their own terrace with a view of the surrounding landscape. The highlight of the campsite is undoubtedly the large pool area, which is equipped with several swimming pools, water slides and a paddling pool for the little ones. Those who prefer to swim in the river can use the Ardèche River, which is only a few minutes' walk away. For sporting activities, there is a wide range of facilities, including tennis, table tennis, boules, volleyball and a gym. Guests can also hire bicycles and explore the beautiful surroundings on their own. For children, there is a playground and, in high season, an animation programme. The excellent gastronomy on site ensures that guests are well catered for. A restaurant, a pizzeria and a snack bar offer a wide selection of food and drinks. There is also a small supermarket where you can buy everything you need for your daily needs. The area around the campsite offers many opportunities for excursions and exploration. The famous gorges of the Ardèche, the lavender fields of Valréas and the medieval towns of Viviers and Alba-la-Romaine are just some of the nearby attractions. Overall, the Domaine de Gil campsite offers a wide range of activities and amenities for an unforgettable holiday surrounded by nature. Whether you want to relax, be active in sports or explore the surroundings - everyone will find what they are looking for here.
