"Nice place, friendly staff - We were there in summer 2016 as a family with 3 children (7,10,12) The road hardly disturbs, much less than we thought. The pool is OK, the lake is great Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities could do with better cleaning The staff speak almost no German but some Dutch. There were mainly Dutch, English and French people on the site. Despite the language problems, the staff were very helpful and went out of their way. The surroundings are great. There really is a lot to explore if you are prepared to drive 30 minutes by car. People arriving with a tent should be aware that the site is in the mountains so there are few really flat areas. We would love to come back

"Camping as it should be - Not bad. We were there with friends and spent a nice 3 days and will be back again.

Profil

In the middle of the regional nature park Plateau de Millevaches lies Flower Camping La Plage, a real campsite for outdoor people. This cosy campsite overlooks a large lake with a sandy beach, where guests can swim, go canoeing or …take a pedal boat trip. The pitches of Flower Camping La Plage are located on one of four lanes. The generous pitches are characterised by the abundance of trees, plants and shrubs. Those who don't need much comfort can choose a natural pitch without electricity. Many pitches offer a view of the lake, but they are not always flat. The slightly undulating terrain also features a number of attractive, sturdy lodges and furnished tents. The two toilet blocks are neat and well maintained. A tunnel under the path will take you to the campsite's trump card: the beautiful sandy beach and lake of Bariousses. You can swim in the clear water, rent a canoe or get on a pedal boat. During the summer months, a bar is open here and a lifeguard has everything in view. Even when the weather is not so good, you can still swim at the campsite. Right in front of the reception is the heated swimming pool, which can be covered. During the summer holidays, children make friends in the Kids Club. Entertainment is provided five days a week with an entertainer, for example, drawing together and playing on the bouncy castle. Children can also let off steam in the playground on the beach. There is a table tennis table for teenagers and there is plenty to do around the lake.
