"Vacation in nature and history - On the landing beach of the Allied invasion on 06.06.1944 Many historical sites in the surrounding area. Be sure to visit the Utah Beach Museum and the small town of St. Mere Eglise.

"disappointing place - The sanitary building is closed from 23.00 - 07.00, only an emergency toilet is open. In addition, the wild campers next door use the facilities free of charge - nothing is done by the site management!

" - It's a pity that the rates are not shown at reception or on the website! Sometimes there are surprises between the rate announced on arrival and the rate shown on the invoice !!!!! I strongly advise against this for motorhome owners .......

Profil

Camping Paradis Utah Beach is located on the eponymous D-Day beach in the French region of Normandy. The family campsite has large pitches and luxurious rental accommodation. With sports fields, a playground, mini golf course, entertainment team and a heated …swimming pool, there is something for everyone in the family. The campsite is well maintained and has a bar with a ‘western-style’ atmosphere. The campsite is divided in two by a tarmac road. You will find most facilities, the camping pitches and some rental accommodation on the side of the reception building. The other rental accommodation and a field with camping pitches are located on the other side of the road. The camping pitches are located at the front of the campsite and are generously laid out. The ground consists of grass. Children can enjoy themselves in the playground and on the sports fields (including mini golf). There is also an entertainment team and the campsite regularly organises games, sports competitions and entertainment evenings. The covered and heated swimming pool provides water fun for young and old. Do you prefer to swim in the sea? From the campsite, you can walk straight onto the beach! The sandy beach is ideal for building sandcastles. Have you worked up an appetite playing, swimming or doing sports? Then grab a homemade pizza from the pizza vending machine. If you want to cook for yourself, the campsite shop offers a small selection. You can also get fresh bread rolls here in the morning. The nearest supermarket is in Sainte-Mère-Eglise.
