The pitch...
itself, right on the banks of the Geiranger, simply great! The sanitary facilities are definitely a big minus in the high season, as they are far too small/few. We were there in May and almost alone, so it wasn't relevant for us. The location clearly counts for this campsite...

Great pitch right on the fjord. The pitch is on sloping ground, but quite level thanks to the terraced layout. The number of sanitary facilities is really inadequate given the large number of pitches.

Great location on the fjord. Fantastic view of Geiranger + cruisers.

Limited sanitary facilities. Steep ascent from the pitches to the wash house.
Pretty place directly on the Geirangerfjord
Perfect location directly on the Geirangerfjord. The sanitary facilities are relatively high up on the slope. The size of the sanitary facilities is rather poor. The number of caravan/camper pitches is limited due to the steep terrain. Bread roll service. Site belongs to the Fjord-Hotel Grande. Shopping... only possible in Geiranger (approx. 4km away). From the campsite you have a fantastic view of Geiranger and the cruise ships passing by. The campsite is right next to CP Geiranger Fjordcenter.
