- Bruno B.June 2024Positiva-large parking spaces -close to Gränna -troubled staffNegativa-no rest, music until 2 o'clock in the morning -despite repeated reminders by site staff to be quiet, nothing happened happened -Bum bum music from morning till eveningNever again!Loud, large square, loud music,
roaring engines.
Despite complaints from several campers, nothing happened to the troublemakers (until 2 a.m.). A no go! No recommendation, unless you don't want to sleep anyway.Automatiskt översatt. - Heike P.June 2024PositivaDirectly on the lake and harbor with ferry to the island of Visingsö. A few minutes in the. - Werner A.August 2018Positivabeautiful location on the lake and well managed placeNegativanothing essentialperfect placeBeautiful location, good and very clean sanitary facilities, quiet surroundings but still not too far from the city. The lake is ideal for swimming.Automatiskt översatt.
- Hartmut B.August 2018PositivaWell suited for day trips along Lake Vättern.NegativaLong distances to the sanitary facilities possible, no shade from trees in hot temperaturesHuge CPLarge CP, without trees. The pitches were large. However, there is only one central sanitary facility (a long way for campers further back). You can quickly reach the small town or take the ferry to the island. Well suited for cycling tours or a few days of relaxation.Automatiskt översatt.
- Nils L.August 2018Great location right on the water.Crystal clear water! Beautiful bathing spots right next to the campsite. The campsite itself is not exactly inviting. Three to four Swedish stars.Automatiskt översatt.
- Sandra L.July 2018PositivaClean sanitary facilitiesNegativaNo shaded areasVery large campsiteLarge, full campsite without trees. The sanitary facilities were very clean and we also liked the family bathrooms. The campsite is very close to the harbor, where you can find a few nice restaurants. - Ralf M.July 2018PositivaGreat location to the lake and the village, good infrastructure, clean and sufficient sanitary facilities.NegativaNo shade on the pitches as there are no trees.Nice spacious pitches, with good infrastructure, but unfortunately with little shade. This was our second time in Gränna and we would love to come back. Good location to the lake with swimming area and close to the village with all necessary shopping facilities. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained. Super equipped kitchen. With the heat this summer, some shade... would have been nice, because unfortunately there are no trees on the very spacious pitches. The various restaurants at the harbor offer something for every budget and taste. Ideal for excursions around the lake and to VisingsöAutomatiskt översatt.
- Marcus F.July 2018PositivaClose to the village, you can reach everything on foot.NegativaHave not found anyNice place for familiesOur 2nd stop during our vacation in southern Sweden. We had a pitch in the front row. In the best weather you can enjoy great sunsets and swim in a very clean lake. You can easily walk from the pitch to the cute little town. We can absolutely recommend the site and the locationAutomatiskt översatt.
- Marianne P.July 2016PositivaThere are certainly many advantages for guests who like the hustle and bustleNegativabusy, impersonal, only one central sanitary buildingDefinitely never again! We were there at the end of July and actually wanted to stay longer in the area, but left in a hurry after one night. As soon as you enter the campsite, you are greeted by the purest fairground hustle and bustle with stalls and stands and I don't know what else. Checking in was no problem, but the site... was pretty full. A pitch near the sanitary building was not available. It's no wonder that all the guests walk across other people's pitches to the washrooms - there's only one central one. This gives the impression of a state prison due to a fence at least 2.50 m high and steel gates. The cleanliness was not particularly pleasing in the early afternoon. The pitches were ok, but basically the cleanest camp roads. Just a few kilometers north of Gränna there is a small, family-run, natural campsite with its own bathing area where we were happy to stay for a week.Automatiskt översatt.
- Wilfried V.September 2015PositivaRight on the lake, very clean, friendly staff, almost perfect!Negativaunfortunately little shadeVery nice placeWe stayed there once on our trip to Nordkapp in September. A beautiful and very well-kept place directly on Lake Vättern, also recommended for a short vacation, gladly again!!!Automatiskt översatt.
- Ulrich M.September 2015PositivaLocation by Vättern and the town - Good infrastructureNegativanoneBeautiful place by the Vättern and the town of GrännaThis campsite is very large - but has appropriate sanitary facilities. The reception staff were very friendly. The site is located on the Vättern at the ferry port to Visingsö and at the marina. So there is always life there. The nice little town of Gränna is within walking distance. The nice little stores invite you to go shopping. Gränna is located directly on the E4 In September 2015, we really enjoyed our stay there again.Automatiskt översatt.
- Harald B.July 2015PositivaIf you are looking for atypical Swedish hustle and bustle, this is the place for youNegativaNo shade, overcrowded, very restlessThe place could also be in ItalyWith advance notice, reservation and prepayment we spent 4 nights there. Without prepayment we would have left after one night. Completely untypical for Sweden, a real "fairground". There are various restaurants between the campsite and the ferry dock, unfortunately without any convincing offers. Nevertheless,... beautifully situated on Lake Vättern, but no pitch with shade. Only one central, but mostly clean, sanitary building, fenced in and only accessible with a code card. This was forced by the publicly accessible bathing beach. We were disturbed by around 100 fighting dogs (always on a lead, however) whose owners let them out on the beach. We were also disturbed by the inconsiderateness of other guests who were constantly running across the beach. When we complained, even the previously fluent German-speaking staff could suddenly "understand NOTHING".Automatiskt översatt.
- Götz W.August 2014PositivaIndustrial dishwasher Directly on the lakeNegativano shade Children's playgroundNo shadowGood CP with modern, clean family bathrooms. Large CP located directly on Lake Vetternsee. NO SHADOW!!!! The pitches are large enough and have mainly gravel and little grass. Disadvantage is the rather poor children's playground. Industrial dishwasher at no extra cost.Automatiskt översatt.
- Andreas B.July 2014DreamlikeWe had a pitch right on the lake, other places not so nice (narrow), sanitary clean, anytime againAutomatiskt översatt.
- Hans und Franziska S.May 2014PositivaVery nice and well-kept facility on the lakeshore, very friendly staffNegativa---One night stay, next time longerOn our trip to Stockholm we made a stopover at Grännastrandens Camping. The stuga was very clean (even the bathroom was clean) and comfortable, the staff nice and helpful. The campsite is located on the shores of Lake Vättern near the ferry landing stage to the island of Visingsö. During our stay we... found a few guests, the area was very clean and it has several garbage collection areas. You will find many small restaurants near the campsite if you don't want to cook. The campsite also runs a small store to buy goods. This time we only stayed one night on the shores of Vättern, next time we will enjoy the beautiful town and explore the surrounding area for longer. The parking lot for our car next to the lodge was also a plus, and not to forget the birds that like to take the crumbs from breakfast : -).Automatiskt översatt.
- cl o.August 2012Well-maintained campsite with a convenient location in Gränna. But it has its price: tent with car and 2 persons 210 SEK in the high season. It's cheaper in Sweden, but rarely so clean. Everything seems to be newly renovated. In midsummer, there may be a lack of shade trees on the tent pitch. But then you can use the direct location on the lake to cool off.Automatiskt översatt.
- Eva S.July 2012The positive reviews for this pitch are puzzling to me. The pitch is very large and, at least now in the summer, we stood close together without trees or bushes. The sanitary facilities are very modern and very clean, and the pretty town of Gränna is just a few hundred meters away. We were only there... for one night as we were passing through, and I would never stay longer on a pitch like this if I didn't have to. If you can get a pitch right on the lakeshore, it may be quite nice, but how you can spend your vacation in the middle of the campsite is beyond my comprehensionAutomatiskt översatt.
- Paul S.June 2012Very nice place and town. We would go there again and again.Automatiskt översatt.
