Hotel with campsite
Very elegant complex with luxury/conference hotel. In mid-September, the few staff only looked after the hotel operations, i.e. the camping sanitary facilities were not particularly clean, garbage cans not emptied, no information given. Free WiFi, very elegant sanitary facilities, but obviously planned... by a hotel designer who has never camped. Hardly any storage space, too few hooks for hanging towels and washing things, but they were 20 cm above the washbasin and therefore actually unusable. Otherwise a great site with pool, tennis court, horse, sheep, great views from the well-paved pitches and the restaurant terrace. We didn't find the restaurant cheap. Practical as a stopover when traveling via Karlovac.

Truly in the heart of nature
This campsite has a really fantastic location away from the hustle and bustle. Only 4 km away from Ribnik. Even the very good road to the campsite leads through woods and meadows. If you take the route from Novo Mesto / Slovenia via Metlika / border to Croatia in the direction of Karlovac, you will find... the campsite very well signposted from Ribnik. It is very easy to reach for those who do not want to drive via Zagreb. From Novo Mesto to the highway 1 Zagreb - Rijeka only 50 km very good to drive country road. The location of Heart of Nature is absolutely quiet in the middle of nature. There are horses, sheep, cats. Children can run absolutely free as there is no traffic. The heated pool now has a roof that can be opened and sun loungers are available. There are plenty of pitches for caravans and motorhomes, with water and electricity. WLAN is available throughout the site. The staff are all very friendly and are happy to show you the small ethnic museum next to reception. The food is excellent, plentiful and moderately priced so that most people don't cook for themselves even if they are staying for a long time. There is a lounge for less pleasant weather. Table tennis, table football and darts are available. Outside you can play soccer, volleyball and boccia. There are crystal clear rivers nearby where you can also have fun. If you like, you can go horseback riding. On the access road there is a cycling or Nordic walking area. There is also a separate room for mother and child in the sanitary building. A large shower for 2, children's toilet and baby bath.
