"Well located DCU Campsite. - The campsite is located right next to Hornbæk Plantation. If you take a walk through the plantation, it's 800 meters to Øresund.

"Nice place with connection to small village - The site is located on the edge of the small town of Hornbæk, where there are several restaurants, supermarkets, cafés, retailers, petrol station etc. The path to the beach leads through the town forest (approx. 1 km). Unfortunately there are no stores within walking distance. The site is very well maintained and very clean. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are well heated. The site managers are very friendly and speak English and some German. The site is very well located as a starting point for excursions throughout North Zealand. Much can be reached by bike.

Popular beach and beautiful harbor Only 800 meters away is one of North Zealand's most sought after beaches with soft, white sand and plenty of space. You can also take a trip to the cozy marina, buy an ice cream …and enjoy life in the idyllic surroundings. Excursions in nature There are plenty of good hiking and cycling trails in the area, and if you want to get to the top, you can do it in the trees and the cable car at 'Til-tops Havreholm'. A short drive or bike ride to the west you will find the exciting Rudolph Tegners Museum and Statue Park, which is located in the adventurous heather area 'Russia'. Visit the beautiful castles It is not far to Helsingør with its cozy streets and lovely lunch and coffee places when you are camping in Hornbæk. Kronborg Castle is located here, which has been named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is an impressively beautiful sight. By Lake Esrum is Fredensborg Castle with its beautiful garden, so there is plenty to do when you have chosen to stay overnight in Hornbæk at the beautifully situated campsite.
