"Very nice campsite in a beautiful area - a real insider tip - A very nice and well-kept campsite in a fantastically beautiful area. If you need relaxation and peace and quiet, but also want to be active, whether hiking, cycling or canoeing, this is the place for you. Anglers will also get their money's worth with the campsite's own fishing lake. The area is well worth a visit and thanks to Christin's tips, you know exactly what you have to see here. There are some beautiful towns and sights in the surrounding area, such as Conque, the Way of St. James, Rodez, the Millau viaduct, etc. There is often not enough time if you want to see and explore everything. The campsite and sanitary facilities are very well maintained and clean. Christin and Stuart create a great and above all familiar atmosphere, are always there for their guests and offer them lots of variety. It's just wonderful there! Thank you very much, dear Christin and Stuart. We felt very comfortable with you and we will definitely come back next year.

"Great place in a unique location - We spent a very nice week there as a group of 6 people. Great landscape all around, ideal for motorcycle tours in the Aveyron or excursions to places worth seeing. The site is in a very quiet location by a fish pond and has very large plots with mature trees. Very friendly and informal management by Christine and her family. German, English and French are spoken.

"Ambience and tranquillity - how nice is that? - It was love at first sight. A wonderful place to relax by the lake. The peace and quiet, the friendliness, the family atmosphere ... The site is in British-German hands - trilingual. Very dedicated management. You are always given advice and tips: where are the current markets, where can I go cycling, hiking etc.?

"A campsite where peace and relaxation are at home - This campsite has 60 beautiful large pitches which are located on a small lake and are shaded by large trees in summer. The site owners really try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Anyone who loves nature will be very happy on this site. My wife and I can really recommend this place. (and spread the word...)

"Pure nature in an impressive landscape - A very well-kept campsite away from all the noise and hustle and bustle. Christine and Stuart have created a refuge here in the middle of the beautiful Aveyron countryside. Spacious pitches, some under old trees or directly on the Etang. Bread roll service, drinks at reception. Tips and brochures for excursions in the surrounding area. Kitchen herb bed for everyone on the site. Soon there will also be a café, which will certainly be beautiful right on the lake. Showers and sinks with free hot water. Everything is very clean. In addition to French, German and English are also spoken here

Profil

The Etang du Camp campsite is located in Sénergues, a medieval village in the Aveyron department. Sénergues is on the route to the pilgrimage site of Santiago de Compostela. The campsite is located at an altitude of 600 metres on …a plateau between the valleys of the Lot and the Dourdon. Enjoy nature, because the campsite is located on the river Ouche and is full of flowers and shrubs. You can even camp between some rocks. With 40 pitches (100-200 m²), you will camp in a small and cosy environment with plenty of space for your caravan, camper van or tent. Tall trees provide shade. The pitches are well spread over the terrain and mainly consist of grass. The most beautiful pitches are located along the river, which is full of fish and so wide that it resembles a lake. Coming without a camping vehicle and tent? You can rent one of the two mobile homes or four tents. The entertainment on the campsite is modest but good. You can play various sports, such as table tennis and jeu de boule. Kayaking is popular on the river. Children can enjoy themselves on some playground equipment. When the weather is bad, you can retreat to the recreation room. Fresh bread is delivered every morning. You can also order a full breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, orange juice and other products. In the evening, pizza and drinks are served at the bar. In high season, there is an outdoor culinary offering. There are regular campfires where you can toast bread over the fire. Another nice touch is that there is a communal dinner every week.

Vägbeskrivning

Leave Rodez on the ring road in the direction of Conques (D901). In the town of St. Cyprien, turn right in the direction of Sénergues (D502, then D46). Second road on the left (signposted to L'Etang du Camp) at the …top of the hill. We do not recommend following the GPS to get to us, as it prefers this small road.
