Some designated and bookable "grass pitches" only better gravel pitches with occasional patches of green. Lots of public traffic due to proximity to the beachCamping near the beachWe spent 2 nights here with the caravan on our trip to the south of Sweden. it was o.k. longer would not have been necessary.
The sanitary facilities are not the best/cleanest.
At the back of the site there is only one station to wash dishes, it happens that you have to queue with 1-3 other campers....
The location behind the dunes with a short walk to the beach, on the other hand, is really good and beautiful. The regulations regarding ball games, cable drums, barbecues etc. were not so strictly observed during our stay. The highway is within earshot, but hardly disturbs. Friendly welcome, strict fire safety rules, compliance with which is monitored, e.g. exact positioning of Womo/caravans within the well-marked pitches, ban on cable drums, if no other cable is at hand,... the drum must be fully unwound. We thought this procedure was totally good, others mocked this alleged pickiness. Good and, at the time of our stay in the low season, clean sanitary facilities. Small store and restaurant/snack bar available, the kebab plate was the worst we had ever had in our lives, but food is ultimately a matter of taste. The location, directly behind the dunes, on the edge of a nature reserve, is a dream... There is a small restaurant and kiosk on site to provide you with the essentials. An ICA Maxi is located on the edge of Mellbystrand,... easily accessible. In Mellbystrand, if you look for it, you will find plenty of places to eat and events in the evening. But the site itself is wonderfully quiet. We'll be going back in 2017...Automatiskt översatt.

Shopping facilities for larger purchases nearby (10 minutes by bike). We only used the site as a "transit site" and will gladly come back again for a camping vacation. - Thomas W.July 2013Positivaherrlicher Sandstrand & Dünenschön gelegener Campingplatztraumhaft schöner, km-langer Sandstrand mit herrlichen Dünen. Hier findet jeder sein ruhiges Eckchen. Flachabfallendes Wasser - ideal für Kinder. Der Platz ist sehr groß und die Stellplätze sehr begrenzt. An manchen Stellen ist es schon schwierig Wohnwagen oder Wohnmobil richtig abzustellen. Sanitäranlagen nicht der Brüller, aber sauber und ordentlich. Es gibt eine Hundedusche! Der kleine Laden bietet das Nötigste. Wir fahren wieder hin!

Next bigger place Lahom approx. 6 km good for small bike tours What was not so good: Info board late and only in Swedish Toilets visibly clean! Toilets and washbasins were not cleaned. - Gabriele S.August 2011Superb location on the long sandy beach, which is easy to reach. The pitches are marked by white and red boundary stones. This means you are very restricted when setting up your motorhome. Two motorhomes cannot be parked alongside each other. There are a lot of regulations, no disposable barbecues and barbecues under 20 cm are not allowed. The site was empty, even though it was peak season.Automatiskt översatt.
