There is a small beach by the lake. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. It is a little difficult to set up the caravan because the pitches are hardly recognizable. Queuing in the morning when full.10 minutes to Maribo CityWe received a very friendly welcome in English and were able to choose a pitch from the only one still available. The ground is generally grass and rather uneven. Each pitch has two embedded paving slabs with the pitch number and the rear wheels are supposed to stand on these slabs.
The site is firmly... in Danish hands. (Germans under 10%)
Unfortunately, there are only very few pitches with a view of the lake. The "beach" is max. 25m wide and not really suitable for sunbathing. "Welan" is free of charge but can only be received to a limited extent. Showers are included in the price and barbecues with charcoal are permitted. The reception includes a small store for the essentials. The location is convenient but quiet and there is a lot to see: Town, local museum. There is also a nice swimming area and very clean sanitary facilities, plus a practical V+E for motorhomes.
