The shower is barely usable. The taps are falling off. We are currently still on site in the main season and you have to queue for at least 20 minutes every day because there are only 2 showers and 2 toilets at the back. Pitch booking was not kept.Great location by the seaThe campsite impresses with its direct location by the sea and its proximity to the town of Vrsar. There are many very good restaurants nearby. There is not enough space, the local shopping facilities are limited and the price structure is still good, sometimes even cheap. Beautiful tours are possible... by bike, even without an e-bike!
Despite booking with a deposit, the pitch was not available. The end of the season was changed at short notice by email. In the terrace area, small walls hinder access with the caravan. Slopes often have to be leveled with wedges.
Internet is not yet available across all pitches.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were always clean. There was also a small store for the most important groceries and bread rolls in the morning and a supermarket... is located on the main road 1km from the campsite. There is also a restaurant on site. A footpath leads to the nearby town of Vrsar and the harbor. There are several stores and restaurants there. On the way along the sea there is a very nice restaurant with a sea view.

You... can get everything you need on the course, especially fresh bread rolls every morning. For larger purchases, you use the nearby supermarkets anyway. It's easy to SUP around the offshore islands.
The restaurant on site is good. The mini market on site is more of a kiosk and rather inadequate, so you have to go shopping by car. However,... a fruit/vegetable stall has a good selection.
The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly and were always clean (but the campsite was only about 50% full).
The campsite isn't that big and doesn't have any entertainment, so you can have some peace and quiet. There was live music twice a week at the restaurant, but it was not at all annoying.
Although I always specify the length of the caravan when making a reservation, the reserved pitch was too small for the caravan, awning and car - a shame. Unfortunately, the standard of hygiene this year is no longer what we were used to, the sanitary facility no. 1, which was only open from about 15.06., was only cleaned twice... a day during our almost three-week stay (mid to late June) and very late, before 07:30 you rarely saw anyone cleaning and after 16:00 there was usually no more cleaning (in previous years the facility was cleaned several times a day by a very nice employee). We were told at reception that this was ordered by the management of the Valamar Group.
In the sanitary facility no. 2, which is getting on in years, the plaster or paint is hanging from the ceiling, a renovation would be urgently needed here!
The WLAN connection was a disaster this time even though our pitch was right next to the antenna.
Reservations via reception for next year are no longer possible and it is also no longer possible to book a specific pitch. Unfortunately, this is a general Valamar problem.
It can now only be booked via the Valamar online site.
What is not so nice is that on Fridays and Saturdays the loud music from the quarry from the jungle bar can be heard in the square until 5 o'clock in the morning.
Friendly and helpful staff at reception, who try very hard but unfortunately have little or no freedom of action due to Valamar's guidelines.

Mauro C.August 2019PositivanoneNegativato me it's a 2 star camp. i don't know what they base their resort on.WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT.I was at the beginning of August with my wife my son and my 3 year old grandson. they gave me a pitch along the border with a cemetery view and near where they clean the fish therefore the stench of fish residue was constantly arriving. despite the high price there are no attractions for children and... adults, such as swimming pool or children's games. there is no market. when ours expired. reservation we delayed to leave the pitch, we were treated rudely and aggressively. we went to a campsite 1 km away where with the same price we found everything and more ( 3 pools, marina for the dinghy, restaurants, pitches with even clear water drainage playroom with young ladies who controlled and played with children. We were there in May, when it wasn't so crowded. But unfortunately you had to get your sandwiches early because otherwise there were none left. There is a kiosk there, which is called a mini market. There was a great fruit stand... nearby. We didn't really like the restaurant. In about 20 minutes you are in Vrsar, which is a nice fishing village where you can actually get everything. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. The beach or the sea is not so nice there, at least we didn't think so. There is a dog meadow nearby, but it is difficult to reach because the gate to the dog meadow was closed. The dog meadow is also not fenced in.Automatiskt översatt.
