The site is not in a good location. Without a car everything (except the indoor swimming pool 100m) is too far away and the road is noisy and the view is not good. The pitch is asphalted and large, 2 small playgrounds only suitable for small children up to about 4 years. The service building was new.... Good lounge with kitchen, spacious and functional sanitary facilities. The zoo in Frösö was closed and the local residents said that it might not open at all.

In itself a very nice place
Nice place with lots of leisure facilities and pitches. However, very expensive, no small supermarket for breakfast, for example. Many entrances, seems as if everyone could come and go. An old sanitary building with showers without a separate changing area, and a new building with far too few showers, toilets (3 each) but new and clean.

An imposition for the price
Over €30 for a pitch with nothing !!!! No electricity, dirty showers, disappearing.... toilets, muddy place - everything you don't really want fits here

Very loud. Far too few sanitary facilities
Heavily disappointed
First of all, the entries of the previous reviewers are correct. I found a new sanitary block (new or completely renovated I don't know) with a kitchen etc.. Then I noticed that there were only 3 showers and 3 toilets for men and women and another mixed area. The condition at 8pm was a disaster, i.e.... totally filthy. One of the reasons for this is that the many children are allowed to use the sanitary facilities without supervision and make a corresponding mess. The second reason is that the facilities are far too small. I am talking here about the sanitary building called 'TYR - Servicehus' which is responsible for pitches 9 to 41, 301 to 318 and the cabins 1-10 which are without their own sanitary facilities. The site is completely full today. So there are about 200, maybe even 300 people in 6 showers and 6 toilets in the area shown. I have given my rating from this point of view.

Campsite is about 3 km south of Östersund. Friendly staff at the reception. Very large area with many huts, vacation homes etc. Various pitches for motorhomes and caravans, different prices, partly no SAT reception. Sanit. Facilities ok, clean, showers only with curtain, kitchen well equipped, large... lounge. There are also youth groups on the site, so it is very busy and football is played around the caravans until late in the evening. The sanit. The sanitary facilities are therefore sometimes overcrowded. Swimming pool adjacent to the campsite, shopping within walking distance. Price at the upper limit.

Apart from the fact that the price is at the pain threshold, 300 percent above the cheapest of my six-week trip to Sweden, nothing special is on offer here. So far so good. It gets really bad when it comes to security. On a bright day at around 4 p.m., my tent was destroyed with spray paint and opened... during a brief absence. The tent is ruined, but the particularly annoying thing is the behavior of the staff at reception, who were completely focused on getting rid of me. They deliberately tried to get rid of me with false references to the liability of the insurance company. Absolutely the lowest level. With the sentence "we have hired a night watchman and we can't take responsibility for everything, thank you very much for your visit and we look forward to welcoming you here again" he broke off the conversation, visibly annoyed and overwhelmed. I found some empty spray paint cans on the site and the reference to the specially hired night watchman is an indication to me that the site is extremely unsafe. Anyone who is happy with the factory paint job on their motorhome or caravan should think twice about visiting the site. In my opinion, the operator is only interested in making a profit

High-voltage power lines at the edge of the site and a busy road. Although only 10% occupied, the WOMOs are close together because you have to pay extra for drainage and fresh water connection (which we don't need). Since I only had satellite reception on these pitches and I was not prepared for service... that I could not use, I left the site (the first time in 3 months of traveling in Europe) There are enough places to stand free in and around Östersund.
