Large pitches, great cycle paths, new sanitary building very nice.

No shopping facilities (but I didn't think it was that bad), old wash house only had a hot water dishwashing facility.
Very quiet, at least in the low season
Great place if you don't need a lot of frills, dog was also happy :) there is a nice circular path around the lake. Cycle tours are well signposted from here, just like in the Netherlands. It certainly wasn't the last time we were here. The only thing you should definitely think about is mosquito repellent!

Very well-kept campsite about 20km from Venlo, near Venray. Large, spacious site, I think on an old gravel pit site. There is plenty of room for expansion behind the site, so the park could possibly grow. But the occupancy was rather manageable during our visit. There is an artificial lake with very... clear water and a few smaller ponds. You can also fish in the ponds. There is a large swimming lake (free!), mini golf, pedal boats (free!), playgrounds, barbecue and a bar. To be honest, the chip shop was rather poorly set up in my opinion and not really worth it, but everyone decides differently. Shopping facilities approx. 4km away. Large pitches, lots of grass, several areas separated by greenery. Comfort pitches with electricity, water/waste water and TV on site. Unfortunately, how you position the caravan is predetermined, which is a bit of a shame. Shade not everywhere, but mostly possible. Good mix of seasonal and short-stay campers. New, well-maintained sanitary blocks with large showers. Only pitch E does not currently have its own building, so you have to walk a bit. You can enter and leave the site around the clock with a chip. Officially, the park is car-free. However, it is not controlled, so nobody sticks to it. Dogs are allowed on a lead. The site is very quiet due to its spaciousness and gives you the chance to relax. An absolute recommendation!

Very nice place
We visited the campsite with three children (4, 6, 16), sister & brother-in-law and parents for a weekend in September 2017 (shortly before the end of the season). Site: Very well-kept and spacious. The site is still being extended at the lake, where more pitches or vacation homes are probably being... built. We were on a great pitch that consisted of a large meadow. The pitches are arranged in a circle so that there is a large open space in the middle. There is also a small soccer pitch and some play equipment for children (children are well in view). There is a lake where you can fish and the campsite offers free pedal boats for use. Catering: There seems to be a bread roll service in season. We were there in the off-season and bought our bread rolls from Jumbo in the neighboring village, which was also open on Sundays. Sanitary facilities: "Our" sanitary facilities looked very modern and renovated. Everything was very clean. There is a separate area for children with a children's toilet, raised showers, washbasins at different heights, a baby changing area and a baby bath. There are cloths at all the washbasins so that you can leave the basin clean and without splashing water afterwards. Thumbs up. There are squeegees in the showers. And... Music is playing everywhere. We were thrilled. There is another wash house, which doesn't look so new and was already closed, as this part of the campsite was probably no longer used in the off-season. So we can't say anything about the facilities and cleanliness. Leisure: In addition to the aforementioned pedal boats, there is also a mini golf course and a large playground. There is also a swimming lake with a beach and slide in summer. There is also a snack bar there, but of course it is only open in the high season. There is also an outdoor chess set and a bouncy cushion. Surroundings: Unfortunately, the surrounding area doesn't have much to offer. There is the small town of Venrey and Venlo is also within easy reach. Roermond is certainly worth a visit too. But as we live right on the Dutch border, we already know these cities ;) Overall impression: We enjoyed our weekend at the campsite and will definitely be back. However, we will prefer other destinations for a longer stay.

We (couple) stayed at this campsite for a few days, a beautiful, quiet campsite. Disadvantage: there is no infrastructure (no small store, no bread service). Even in the next village 1.5 km away there is no store to do small shopping. There are no garbage bins to be found anywhere on the site. The toilet/shower facilities are still very new and were always clean.

Camping with plenty of space
A place to relax. The pitches are big enough to give everyone their own space. If something is not right, the owner takes care of it calmly and to everyone's satisfaction.

Beautiful, well-kept campsite with large pitches
Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches and friendly staff. They have a very new sanitary building which looks super nice. for our children (4 &7yrs) there was plenty to do. Entertainment, several playgrounds, pedal boats (free) and of course the swimming water with slide. Great vacation

Super campsite! Very hospitable staff, lovely clean swimming water, good walking and cycling routes and car-free camping fields with playing field. Ideal for people with young children!

wij zijn in mei een midweek op de witte vennen geweest. het is een erg mooie camping met mooie ruime plaatsen. wat heel mooi is voor gezinnen met kinderen, dat in het midden van de meeste velden een speeltoestel aanwezig is. er is ook een grote speeltuin in het bos, waar de iets oudere kinderen zich... prima kunnen vermaken. het is ook mooi om over de camping te wandelen langs de vakantiehuizen of het water. het sanitairgebouw is voor mijn smaak een beetje verouderd, maar dat is persoonlijk. het sanitair was wel altijd schoon. het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. wij hadden dus helemaal niks te klagen over deze camping en wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug.
