    Directly on the water / super-friendly operators / free choice of pitches
    Not too crowded even in high season, super nice and helpful operators, simple but sufficient, very good price-performance ratio, free choice of pitches without parcels, camping directly on the water or under trees possible, several fireplaces, dog-friendly !!!! With access for dogs to the lake Bathing area with barrier for non-swimmer area Campsite's own boat/bathing jetty Power connections available everywhere WC area is not for spitters

    simply fantastic
    Quite a simple place but run with a lot of heart. The location on the lake between the mountains is beautiful, but you can forget the somewhat backward facilities. In the village at the top there is a small supermarket where you can find everything you need and in Leksand about 8 km good cycle paths, ICA and COOP and everything that belongs to a town. The cycling and hiking routes are varied and good, Terrängkatan 1.50 000 is helpful.

    Well maintained, simple, quiet
    We spent a week on this site and were surprised by the peace, friendliness and cleanliness.For being so close to Siljan, it is a very quiet site run by a friendly older parr.We felt very welcome and were alone on the large meadow, but always had enough space.Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for Swedish tranquillity and doesn't need the hustle and bustle right by the lake.

    Scenic 1a, simple, clean
    Simple sanitary facilities, but clean. Nice bathing area. Nice stugas. A very orignial, older Swedish couple runs the site and keeps it in good condition. Spacious, you can keep to yourself.

    Small site - but beautifully situated. Sanitary facilities simple but clean. Shady spots are available. Probably not as full as the other pitches at SILJAN due to the "simpler" facilities.
