If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is absolutely the wrong place!!!!
Dogs barking from left and right and I wonder whether this is a camping site or rather a dog site with camping pitches?
There is also no shade and the pitch is a desert of gravel. Beautiful is different.

This campsite is simply great. The quiet location invites you to relax and feel good. Quiet, yet centrally located in the hiking area. A dream for us as hiking enthusiasts.
The weather was initially reported as not good, but this was not confirmed.... It was always raining all around, we could always sit outside both in the morning and in the evening.
The staff are so friendly and so are all the neighbors and fellow campers.
The showers are great, as the shower, washbasin and toilet are all in one cabin.
A small drawback is that some of the cabins are flooded.
All in all, a top address. - Sabine K.August 2023WonderfulA fantastic campsite embedded in nature with a very special atmosphere. There is also a large, lovingly designed, clean natural swimming pond, which simply invites you to swim and dive in.
The campsite has very modern and well-maintained sanitary facilities.
Absolutely nice, courteous and friendly staff,... great service.
The restaurant has a very good kitchen, therefore well attended, we always made reservations and ate totally delicious.

- Kristina F.August 2023A real recommendation!Beautiful site, everything still quite new. Beautiful, spacious pitches, more shady at the edge, sunny in the center. Super nice swimming pond! Unfortunately, there are also a few teething problems: Too few places to wash up - and very, very cramped. A few outdoor sinks would be great and would remedy... the situation.
No possibility to wash laundry by hand apart from the sinks. Fair prices for the washing machine (3€). In my opinion, the toilets integrated into the showers are a real planning mistake. If the shower is occupied, then the toilet is too and vice versa. And with only 1 additional men's and 2 women's toilets in the lower wash house, far too few! What's more, the fact that the partition wall is not completely solid means that everything - including the toilet area - is flooded when showering. 😬
The Welcome Card as a guest card including mountain railroads from 3 nights was only available on request, this should definitely not be the case.
On the other hand, the site is beautifully situated in the forest and the pitches remain tiptop even in heavy rain.

Suggestions for improvement:
- More shade on the playground -> especially the sandpit should be in the shade
- Rubber lip between shower and toilet so that everything is not always flooded. At the moment there is no dry place where you can get undressed/dressed without worrying.
