We came to the site because of the reviews of the "original" sites of the campsite. They were there, unfortunately also in a negative sense. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are clean, but often there was no hot water, or the tap only ran with constant holding, or there was hardly any... water at all. Showers work with shower tokens for 10 crowns, which was not appropriate as the water often remained cold or only came in drips.
The location is quite nice, but the bathing area is public and can only be reached by a short walk through the forest. There was a pedal boat (old but functional) for free use at the "fish pond", which was nice. The playground was rotten and quite wobbly. WLAN only worked to a very limited extent, even at reception. The prices were only displayed for the last year 2023.
Conclusion: The new owner will have to do a lot to justify the positive reviews of previous years.

Very nice place
Very nice and quiet place, as you are used to from "back in the day". No fixed layout, informal set-up.
Sanitary facilities a little older but well maintained and very clean.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Canoe, rowing and motorboat hire, dog walking facilities right next to the campsite. Super friendly reception. Space without end.

Wonderfully relaxing
We were here as a couple with a dog, mid / end of August 2019. We liked the place very much. Sani simple but very clean, showers decent size. Reception extremely friendly (also in German). Very relaxed atmosphere, we felt very comfortable.

Cleanliness was invented here!
We felt very comfortable at the campsite (despite the weather)! Very nice reception, incredibly clean, in beautiful nature and directly on the lake with a jetty and a beach (approx. 100m). Lots of hiking opportunities on the doorstep. Pure peace and relaxation! This was our first campsite in Sweden, and unfortunately no other could compete with this one!

Very friendly, helpful and cordial operators. Great, quiet site away from the road. The lake is a short walk away, but you can't see it from the campsite. The sanitary facilities are super clean and the whole site is always well maintained! Fresh bread rolls can be pre-ordered at reception. Fishing tackle... is also sold here and small souvenirs are available, as well as tins of soup, biscuits, ice cream or sweets. A small market (with petrol station), where almost everything is available, is within walking distance of about one kilometer. An ATM, petrol station and the nearest larger store are 8 km away. The site is also an ideal starting point for canoe trips (canoes and boats can be hired at reception) in the Åsnen lake area or for cycling tours.

Super friendly very quiet ideal for fishing, cycling, relaxing
Were again for a week at Torne Camping in southern Sweden at the beloved Äsnen Nanette and Michael as always very friendly and helpful, fantastic fishing pike (all released) of 105, 91, 86 cm caught in addition to numerous zander and perch, gas station and grocery store in the village within easy reach. You can cycle or hike along the adjacent cycle path.

Well-maintained campsite and the sanitary conditions are far above Swedish camping standards. The campsite is owned by a Dane, Michael, who is extremely service-minded.
