Good advice for excursions.Olumsuz yanlarıI can't think of any.Cozy place with great bathroomsEven the telephone booking one day before arrival was friendly and casual. This basic tone of the owner determined the entire stay of 5 days. The site is perfect: level pitches with a mixture of grass and sand, old trees, shade on many pitches, complete infrastructure with sensibly placed connections,... including for waste water, Camperclean toilet cleaning. Not forgetting the really good rolls for breakfast. But the best thing is the washrooms. In the 4 lockable cabins for each gender there is a shower + a washbasin, where you can choose whether to use the hose shower or the shower from above. Everything was clean. The sanitary facilities are spacious and very clean, and there are electricity and water connections on site. Disposal facilities are also perfect. There are shady and sunny pitches depending on your needs.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was already closed at the end of September.

Insider tip!A small, family-run campsite with few permanent campers and some large pitches. Almost all of these either have all the necessary connections on the pitch or are within easy reach. The site itself is located directly in the village of Purgstall, but due to the valley location it is rather on the edge,... so you don't get to see much of the village.
The pitches themselves are well maintained and partly separated by hedges. The ground on the pitches is a bit clayey and doesn't absorb water immediately when it rains.
The staff are very friendly, helpful and always available. The bread roll service (can be ordered online in advance) is great and always flawless. The restaurant has a limited menu due to Corona, but the dishes are good and reasonably priced.
Overall, the campsite has implemented the current Corona measures very well. The sanitary facilities were clean at all times. The problem here was once again some campers who didn't clean up their mess properly!
The peace and quiet on the site is unique, the small babbling brook nearby completes the overall picture. The swimming pond is a great way to cool off on hot summer days.
The campsite does not have its own supermarket, but this is not necessary as there are plenty of shops nearby. The village of Purgstall is worth exploring, but a highlight is the "Fischersteig", which is accessible in 2 ways (free of charge!).

I don't know where to start and hope I haven't forgotten anything.
Klaus is very accommodating, friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was a pleasure every morning (delicious and sufficient). You can pre-order what you want for breakfast every day (bread... rolls are freshly made).
The campsite was clean throughout, there are plenty of fire pits. There is also plenty of self-service wood available.
Electricity and water at the pitch, what more could you want :)
Shower/washing facilities available in the main building by the restaurant.
Car can also be parked on the tent plot, which makes it practical if you want to lock something of value safely - for example, if you are hiking through the forest along the Erlauf.
Ideal starting point for several excursions and activities in the region (e.g. Amethyst World)...
My son (6) and I will definitely be back in the next few years. And maybe we'll convince my wife to come too, as there are also small bungalows to rent.
So if you want to bring your child closer to nature, you should definitely come here !!!
The only small unforeseen drawback for my son. The ice cream machine was broken. So we had to walk to the village and get our well-deserved ice cream there ;)
But the ice cream machine will certainly work again this year in August :)

Although the weather was very mixed, we had a very nice stay. There is plenty of space for the children to let off steam and play. There was also a suckling pig dinner once in the evening. The campsite is very easy to reach, very well maintained meadows and trees. The sanitary facilities are also always clean, soap and paper towels were always well stocked. What I particularly liked about the showers was that you go... into a cubicle and the shower has an extra shower wall. There is also a washbasin and 2 stools in the cubicle. You can't splash anything through the shower wall. You dry off in the shower, then get straight back into your bathing shoes and can get ready in peace without the whole floor being wet from showering. The owners are very friendly. There are at least 10 different types of ice cream - homemade! These are excellent - I haven't had such good ice cream for a long time!!! The children were in the natural swimming pond, which is very nicely laid out. There is also a nice playground with a large sandpit. And a huge meadow for playing soccer, badminton, ..... Table tennis table (bats can be borrowed from reception). There are lots of shops nearby and the beautiful Erlauf gorge. We will definitely be back soon!Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

Unfortunately, the biotope is full of mosquitoes. At the campsite we were instructed and looked after by the groundsman Mr. JAN, a special thank you for that! Sanitary facilities of the finest quality,... cleanliness in every corner. The campsite is very nice, quiet location. Great site layout (large campground, nice children's playground, lovely little swimming pond.....) As I am in a wheelchair, the disabled-friendly sanitary facilities are important to me and they are well equipped, always clean and easy to reach. The quiet location in a side street with little traffic makes a significant contribution to relaxation. According to this motto, the friendly operatorsthe beautifully situated campsite on the outskirts of Purgstall. The site is well-kept, with partly sunny, partly shady pitches, very clean and scores points with little details, such as the bread baskets, which we order the day before and collect in the morning. The boys love the swimming pool and we... love the spacious showers.
