Super, highly recommended!
The first impression is great. Large campsite with great swimming opportunities in the sea. There are actually only positive things to report. I have already mentioned the few restrictions. Any time again. It is also nice for dog owners that there is a section on the left where dogs are also allowed in the sea without disturbing others

The pitch was very large. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly. There is soap in the wash houses

No hot water in the showers and at the sinks. W-LAN only at the pool. The pitches are overgrown with weeds. The pool area is far too small.
Well....
This campsite has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, some things are very annoying. The most annoying thing is that there is no hot water. Neither in the showers nor at the sinks. It's warm here, okay. But that's not why everyone wants to take an ice-cold shower. For over 100 euros per night, you can... expect such basic things to be available.
The pool area is nice, but unfortunately far too small for the many people. The sun loungers cost extra at the pool and on the beach, which we think is okay as it's not too expensive and there are free sun loungers. The surrounding area is very beautiful. Novigrad and Porec can be reached quickly by car. A funicular runs regularly from the campsite to Novigrad.
W-LAN is only available at the pool and by the sea, but very stable.

Conclusion:
This campsite is not designed for so many people. We won't be back because it lacks the necessary things.

The beach with the saltwater pool is beautiful. The bars on the beach are very well maintained. The proximity to Novigrad is ideal by bike. Beautiful cycle path.

The staff at the beach café are friendly, but completely overwhelmed. It takes 3/4 of an hour or even longer to get a coffee. The prices for drinks are very inflated.
Beautiful place
First time on this site with our motorhome. The pitches are very large. Enough space for a large mobile home.
Unfortunately no water or waste water connections. Incomprehensible at these prices.

Plots are also sufficient for large camper vans. Good access to the water. Extra dog beach. No entertainment after the season. We will be back. Water quality is very good. Top sanitary facilities. We are now 14.09.23 here fortunately.

The store is very, very expensive and almost empty because nothing is restocked. Just off-season.

Definitely worth a repeat visit. The course has something for everyone. I am completely thrilled. Cycling 6 km to Novigrad on a beautiful cycle path. It gets sporty after Porec. I wouldn't do it a second time. Lots of traffic and an incredible number of steep climbs. Novigrad is worth seeing. Unfortunately there is only a large Plodine 5 km from the campsite. Otherwise everything was great

Top for families
Very nice resort with great family facilities and entertainment in the evening. The restaurants were all very good! The rental of standup paddles, jet skis, electric boats and pedal boats were also very cool.

Beautiful 3 days
Everything was very clean and classy. We had a mobilhome, very well equipped. The pitches are very large and well shaded, you can choose one. You have to pay for the sunbeds by the sea, but there is enough space for your own sunbeds or towels. The beach and the sea are beautiful. We took the SUP along... the coast and stopped in a bar before Novigrad. 3.5 km to Novigrad, which we covered by bike. But there is also a slow train for 3 euros. We liked it very much

We cannot understand the bad reviews.

You can lie on your towels or mats both on the beach and by the pool without having to rent sun loungers.

The sea is great and the view is fantastic at all times. We had a Premium Mare pitch and really enjoyed having an unobstructed view of the sea.

The restaurants... and the store are a little more expensive, but still within reasonable limits.

The fact that everything costs extra is annoying, but manageable. We played mini golf and were well entertained at 8 euros for 1 hour.

We also can't understand the bad reviews regarding the showers. We showered every day between 6 and 9 pm and had no problems with the temperature or queues.

Only the really narrow access roads to the pitches are a nuisance. But we also managed this after changing pitches without any movers or damage.

The entertainment is pleasantly low key and unobtrusive. The children had great fun at the mini disco every evening.

If you could reserve a specific place in advance, and not just the category, we would definitely come again.
Unfortunately, the risk of getting too small a pitch with our large caravan is too great.

Beautiful campsite right by the sea
We had booked a place in the first row by the sea. Unfortunately, the children's paddling pool and the water bouncy castle for children were in front of our pitch. All in all, the site is very nice, but if you want peace and quiet it is less suitable for couples. Highly recommended for families with children.

Small playground, bad restaurant by the pool (staff very unfriendly and annoyed), but the worst: got an ear canal and middle ear infection due to bacteria, according to my doctor this must have been due to swimming in the pool. We didn't go anywhere else

Actually a nice campsite, great restaurant by the sea, the food was really good there. Unfortunately the exact opposite at the pool. Unfriendly staff, unfortunately the food was only OK. Beware of the pool: according to my doctor, I had a middle ear infection and ear canal inflammation from the pool. We didn't swim anywhere else. Unfortunately an absolutely bland aftertaste. Pool toilets often dirty.

Stay with caravan August 2022
After spending the Whitsun vacation next door at Camping Park Umag, we switched to Aminess Maravea because it was fully booked.
Conclusion:
Beautifully situated medium-sized campsite, pitches partly very sloping and uneven, very modern restaurants with a high price level, unfortunately no menus with... price list, beach is nice but too small, nice pools, the sanitary facilities are modern, clean but unfortunately often waiting times and partly cold water, with our dog we could go anywhere but the dog beach is very crowded, outside is a dog beach with bar which can be reached in 5 minutes where it is much nicer. For the relatively high price level, our expectations were not met and another stay is rather unlikely. It was okay but nothing more.

Very well-kept place with extremely friendly staff
What struck us immediately was the friendliness of the staff throughout; whether at reception, at the bakery, in the bar or on the beach: everyone was genuinely helpful and friendly. We have experienced this differently at other places, where the guest is only supposed to pay, say nothing, certainly... not complain and then leave again!
An employee came one day and asked us to leave because we only wanted to stay for 3 days. But as we liked it so much, we decided to stay another day. I wanted to go to reception after breakfast, but Zoran was already there :-) and said he would do it for us. I thought that was real service!
We really liked the location, the terraces mean you have a sea view from many of the pitches.
The site is very clean and is kept in excellent condition. The sanitary facilities are very modern and very clean.
We were in the off-season, it was quiet, of course I don't know if animation on the beach is annoying during the season...

The site is quite new and the pitches are nicely divided. The water access is also very good. The site is very good for couples and children.

The children play and scream on the play equipment until late into the night. Places (lawns) by the sea are underwater when it rains. (Luxery Mare)
Dream place
The campsite is modern and well equipped. The catering on the site is also good. For shopping you need a bike, car, ... . We went shopping in Novigrad by car. There is also a shuttle from the campsite to Novigrad. It is a perfect place for families.

Once and never again
Unfortunately, there is no fixed seat reservation, you reserve in one of the areas, see site plan. You don't know in advance where you will be standing.
We only had one pitch as an alternative, which was extremely sloping and with two trees in the middle of the plot. It would not have been possible to... extend the awning and setting up the caravan would have been risky and dangerous!

The "Comfort Mare" pitches are too small, sometimes very sloping and uneven. Recommendation for caravans only with mover. The paths are also very narrow. As the pitches are small, cars are sometimes parked directly on the path or at the crossroads.

After a storm with heavy rain, the path and some of the pitches were under water. The fire department had to come and pump the water into the sea. The actual problem "blocked gully" was not resolved. Experienced campers reported that this happens again and again and that you should avoid this plot area. Problem: Plot is assigned, see above!

The shower water was cold early in the evening and there was very little water. The smaller and not so modern wash house at pitch 268 was not cleaned properly. (This wash house does not appear in the promotional videos!!!) There is no water tap at the wash house to fill a watering can. (There are also no water taps at or between the "Comfort Mare" pitches!!!) The urinals are very narrow and stank terribly.

The only bakery on the site is too small and was totally overloaded. Waiting times up to 45 minutes!

We didn't like the bay. The beach areas next to the campsite are not well maintained, it's hard to find a nice spot if you don't want to lie in the hustle and bustle on the campsite beach.

The town of Novigrad is nothing special either. There are only a few restaurants.
It is incomprehensible why the campsite has 5! stars!
We didn't meet anyone who liked the campsite and would like to come again.

- Pitches very unkempt at the end of May, not mowed, was then done on two full days at the beginning of June - Showers: either ice cold or scalding hot - Cleanliness in the toilets: Floor was mopped every two hours. Unfortunately, the taps and toilet flushes were always smeared and uncleaned. This is not possible in Corona times! - If you have a pitch behind the beach bar, you are blasted with music from 11 in the morning until 11 in the evening - Bill was in Croatian with a few fees that were undecided for us - Bakery was still closed, supermarket was very poorly stocked and very expensive
Nice campsite with small quirks
Sh. Pros and cons. Despite the disadvantages, we liked it and will be back.

Unfortunately the music in the beach club is too loud and that from 10.00h - 23.00h ☹️ At least if you have booked a luxury pitch (motorhome), i.e. the most expensive category

Very expensive pitch and then sometimes you have to pay extra for everything. No water at the pitch.
Nice place with some deductions
When we arrived at reception without a reservation, we were given a pitch straight away and were able to choose our own. The pitches are very large. Disadvantage: they have no water connection. Only the pitches in the first row have water. Some pitches are only accessible via a gravel road and some are... only on gravel. The site is super clean and the sanitary facilities are cleaned every 2 hours. There is a saltwater pool on the beach. There is a separate, larger pool area in the middle of the site. Above the campsite there is a very good ice cream parlor, a bakery, a snack bar and a fairground.
On the first night we had disco music from young people for a long time, the next evening it started again straight away, I went to reception, the security sorted it out shortly afterwards and it was quiet. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food on site, as we mostly ate in Novigrad. About 15 minutes by bike. There is also a slow train to the town. We liked the campsite, but for the price I would have liked a few things included. You have to pay for sunbeds at the beach and pool. Beach volleyball and the outdated mini golf too. We had a nice week there but I don't think we would come back a second time.

We rented an Istrian Village bungalow. Nicely situated in the shade, but the unpleasant smell in the bungalow could have been aired out before we moved in. Very basic facilities, but the price of €177 per day is not justified. Price and performance are far apart. Very expensive supermarket on the pitch. We have a dog which also costs 10€/day and a mini beach, unkempt. We will not recommend the place and will leave again on Friday 17.07.20
