First of all, when you arrive, it's a scramble to find a pitch, and if you're having trouble finding one, they tell you to go elsewhere instead of helping you. Then we were there during the floods, nobody told us there was a weather warning, at 4am when the campsite was flooded the campers managed the evacuation all by themselves and the worst was in the morning when the reception opened: the campsite staff were just waiting in their hut for us to come and pay for our departure (because yes, they did charge us 100 euros for 2 adults and 3 children for the night), not a word to find out how we spent the night, not a word of comfort, no help offered, of course we were offered neither hot drinks nor blankets to warm us up.... Nothing! They were just waiting for us to pay.A money-making factoryTo be avoided! I'll never go back to that awful campsite! We were there at the end of September and the place was pleasantly full.Olumsuz yanlarıUnfortunately, the direct access to the lake was blocked at our time. There is no barrier at the turning area for direct access with your own SUP. Not all people think about the other guests and park in such a way that there is no way through.Very nice campsite on a beautiful lakeGreat pitch, we enjoyed the 2 days. Once you've found a pitch, you can move again later if a nicer one becomes available.
The key points:
-located beautifully on the... lake....free access
-beautiful bathing area with slightly better access and moorings just a few steps away
-boat hire on site
-bus and boat landing stage at the site
-cable car 500m
-Restaurant good
-fruit and vegetable sales
-bread roll service
-extra pitch area for tents....(forest)
-Pitches with gravel, some grass and trees
-Bicycle would be advantageous because parking fees are charged at practically all parking areas around the lake
-quiet at night despite the size and occupancy

As it is not parceled out, you can stand as long as you can find a place.A bijou, but...A fantastic natural backdrop: Mountains, lake, tranquillity. There are no pitches, but there is a restaurant and vegetable market. The idea is great, but the site is so overcrowded that nature can only be seen and enjoyed when you look up at the mountains.
When the evening arrival is over, the site is... extremely quiet, and in the morning everything is reversed again - the caravan moves on.

Unfortunately, we didn't get much sleep on the last night because our neighbors didn't keep to the night's rest and partied loudly. They didn't stop even when other campers asked them to.

NatureOlumsuz yanlarıNo reservation possibleIdyllicUnfortunately you can't book. When we arrived, the entrance was full. But the barrier was open and we were told by other campers that you can just drive in, because at 12:00 the lockers are closed and then wait until someone leaves. We were lucky and got a pitch in the 2nd row. The location by the lake... is a dream. There are lots of families on the site, but also young people in vw buses and tents. Everything is pretty uncomplicated. It has its own flair. The restaurant on site is very good. Bread rolls are sold there in the morning. Sometimes a long queue. Otherwise there are no stores nearby. Only at the other end of the lake. It's best to take enough food with you. The nature is a dream. Great hikes. Savica waterfall from the campsite. Mostnika gorge from Stara fuzina. The cycle path to bohinska bistrika is also beautiful. You can't cycle around the lake though. You can hire a canoe or sup at the campsite. It's great to explore the shores of the crystal-clear lake in this way. The lake was very warm for us in august. The weather was hot but it also rained for half an hour every day. This is normal in this area. Take rain protection with you on hikes. I really liked this place because it has its own flair, really rustic.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

Lake Bohinj attracts visitors with its crystal-clear water and in zone B you can choose the most beautiful campsite in the sparse beech forest. The staff are super friendly... and remain calm even when the place is busy. The sanitary facilities could be a bit more, but (contrary to other comments) they are clean and the showers are spacious. If you come during the main tourist season, you have to be prepared for more crowds, but even then there is still space in the forest for a tent. You can either park your car on the site for a daily fee or park for free in the parking lot in front of it.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

But you can't really relax here. Daily arrival and departure traffic make the site incredibly restless. The sanitary facilities are in a difficult condition and you have to expect waiting times, especially in the morning and evening during the season. In... the evening sometimes only lukewarm to cold showers. Paper in the toilets is usually refilled. Cleaning is - let's say well... you shouldn't be sensitive or better still have your own toilet with washing facilities. But since the place is always full and fully booked, not much will change here. A great pity. A big plus for the many mostly friendly employees. The landscape is wonderful. The hiking trails in the mountains are well described, the indicated duration is often not correct, here you can double the time.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

The pitches at the back are in the middle of the forest, very close to the large mountain lake, which often offers a great spectacle in the morning when the thick early morning mist lifts and gradually reveals the view of the rock faces opposite. The sanitary facilities are a little tight when the site is full. They are cleaned regularly according to the notice - and are then presentable until late in the evening. Early in the morning, however, it's a disaster. There is no more parcelling out,... everyone goes wherever they want (especially in the evening) - and even during the week it was always FULL in the evening. Apart from the few pitches by the lake, the pitches are quite uneven and the power supply can also be a problem if you don't have a long cable to hand. When the evening arrival is over, the campsite becomes extremely quiet, and in the morning everything is reversed again - the caravan moves on. It is very restless at these times. The "gastronomy" offers breakfast and pizza, sometimes a little more. Without having seen it, I would avoid the campsite at weekends during the season.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

The pet friendly campsite offers plenty of accommodation for both caravanners and tents. - Thomas H.July 2016Stopover placeWe chose this site as a stopover on our way back from our vacation in Croatia. It was quite a struggle to get onto the pitch. You can't reserve a pitch in advance. The best time to arrive is around 1 pm when the departing travelers have left. You can choose your own pitch but the ground is not particularly flat, rather wild and desolate. Pitches partly very close to nature and badly parceled out. One was afraid of being parked. Too bad that the probably only 2014 renovated sanitary facilities are in a desolate condition (in 6 of 8 toilets the toilet seats were mostly down, in some shower cubicles... there is no splash wall, shelves and hooks. The urinals are filthy (yellow urine stone in front of them) and it smells accordingly. The outside washing-up area has not been swept for a long time. Only the soap and towel dispensers were always full. It's a shame that the management - perhaps tired of the season - doesn't live up to its standards here. Otherwise, you'll end up in the woods on a patch of leaves under the trees, where there is permanent shade. But something different suits everyone. We were by the water, on the grass, in a nice semi-shade. Sanitary facilities... large and spacious, with no queues and hot water at any time. All the more surprising that there was no hot water for washing dishes! Water access is not equally comfortable everywhere (shallow, driftwood and grass). Friendliness and helpfulness of staff slightly above average, overall cleanliness of campsite below average (uncollected piles of rubbish around bins - but that could have been accidental!!!)Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

And all i can say is that they are moving in the right direction. Great job guys! If you like nature and outdoor activities I recommend you visit this campsite.
