- Richard A.August 2011CP "DE TOUR" - Palics Subotica, in northern Serbia, just over the Hungarian border. Very suitable for the often-recommended border crossing Tompa. Small, park-like area, which can actually be described as a "swimming pool with overnight accommodation". According to the operator, there are hardly any... campers (a pity!) because there are no signs. Toilets: a "vacation hut" is opened for camping guests, in which there is a combined shower/WC (super hot water). Electricity: only one normal power socket, long cable required. Food: Boris, who looks after the swimming and billiard guests from the area in the evening, makes excellent pizzas (unfortunately only 3 types, but never mind!) in the wood-fired oven next to the tables. Swimming pool: excellent! 3 swimming pools, pool bar, 3 beach volleyball courts. I also believe that these are free for camping guests. Prices: we paid a whopping €32 for 5 people, caravan, electricity, 4 pizzas, 3 beers, 3 juices. Euros are accepted without problem. CP alone (I think) about 16 €. Directions: Coming from the highway from Hungary or Belgrade, take the highway exit "Subotica - Palic" and then drive in the direction of Subotica (westwards) past the spa town of Palics. 1 km after the small railroad crossing there is a gas station on the right, and IMMEDIATELY after this there is a side road on the sharp right. The CP is immediately on the first wooded plot on the left (without any signposting, almost behind the gas station). Coming from Tompa / Subotica: take the main road from Subotica towards Palics until you reach the ÖMV gas station on the left. Somewhere after that turn around (2-lane road!) and then drive as above. Conclusion - ideal for those passing through for an overnight stay. Very friendly and reasonably priced. Sometimes the night's sleep can be affected a little by the swimming guests, but nothing that really bothered us.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
