A really great site with a solid infrastructure. Friendly staff and modern, absolutely clean sanitary facilities. The standard pitches are large and offer enough space for larger caravans.

Divided by a busy thoroughfare. Footpath to Orta partly dangerous.
Short stay in August 2018
We stayed at the campsite for one night on our way to the Adriatic. It is beautifully situated right on the lake. Unfortunately, the path to Orta (beautiful historic old town) is relatively dangerous due to the lack of a pedestrian path (from the campsite to the traffic circle), as some drivers don't... take any notice. We stayed in the campsite area directly on the lake. The traffic on the through road was very loud and disturbing first thing in the morning. We would choose a different campsite for a longer stay. We wanted to make a reservation by phone beforehand, but this was refused. Payment only possible in cash (only cash is king).

Beautiful campsite directly on Lake Orta
Beautiful campsite directly on Lake Orta. Pitch directly on the lake - divided by the main road - larger pitch on the other side of the road. An underpass under the main road connects the pitches. The road is also busy at night with noisy vehicles (motorcycles, cars, trucks). Particularly disturbing... in the early morning. The railroad up on the slope also disturbs the night's rest. WLAN throughout the site for a fee. Clean sanitary facilities, hot water. Cycling to nearby Orta is nice but only possible on the busy main road by the lake.

super nice, sanitary facilities are cleaned every day, lots of parking spaces on the campsite, own bathing area, billiards, table football, everything there... only shortcoming: 4min. hot showers = 0,20€ ;)
