Unattractive beach area.Camping Badiaccia shortly before Easter 2017We chose the Badiaccia campsite for our short vacation on Lake Trasimeno because the sanitary facilities were so highly praised and because we had actually planned a cycle tour to Castiglione del Lago, which seemed easy to do from this campsite. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival. We were... given a map of the campsite and were allowed to choose one of the many free pitches available at this time of year. Naturally, we took a seat in the front row and that brings us to the only real criticism of the site. Although we are not very big with a VW California and a bike rack, the pitch was a bit small for us. For large motorhomes and caravans, it could be quite cramped here. At the time of our stay, however, there was still so much space that it didn't bother us if we used the free neighboring pitch. The sanitary facilities made a really very attractive and clean impression, although there was only hot water in one sanitary facility due to the low occupancy of the site. But you can understand that. Both of the campsite's pools were still closed, but the campsite store was already open. In the evening, we decided to go to the small restaurant where, to our astonishment, we were welcomed as the first guests of the season. The friendly chef took great care of us personally and even spoke to us in very good German, which we hadn't really expected. The spaghetti with olive oil and garlic was delicious. There was a very large sunbathing lawn directly in front of our pitch, where the campsite beach was located. The water was still too cold for swimming anyway, but I don't think I would have gone into the water there at higher temperatures, as the water was murky and the beach rather muddy. You could certainly add some sand here. Unfortunately, the bike tour to Castiglione del Lago didn't work out as two family members fell ill despite the nice weather and we had to leave early. This was accepted by the campsite reception without any problems, for which we would like to say a big thank you. Conclusion: Camping Badiaccia is a very nice campsite where you are treated in a very friendly manner and can feel very comfortable. The sanitary facilities are excellent and are second to none. The pitches are clearly a little too small and are probably less advisable for those who enjoy swimming in natural waters. Otherwise, we can definitely recommend the site for a vacation on Lake Trasimeno.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.- jürgen s.August 2016Olumlu yanlarıfavorableOlumsuz yanlarınot worth the journeyvacation 2016 august 14 dayswe were there for 14 days with caravan, 3 children and dog, dogs no problem, sanitary facilities also good, even if they were only cleaned once a day and at lunchtime the toilet paper was usually empty, store totally overpriced (cola 0.33l 2.50 euro, beer 0.33l 3.50 to 4.50 euro). the pizzeria on the... square, well, a matter of taste, you sit there like in a train station hall, that's how it looks. the lake is not suitable for swimming, first big stones, then very deep mud and in between water plants that sting everywhere, so nobody goes swimming in the lake and everyone goes to the pool, which is then of course totally overcrowded and too small for the masses. sand on the beach? only if you bring it with you, there was no sandy beach. now for the evening program: just bad, so bad that not even those who understand the language laughed or laughed, on the contrary, they fled. the site itself is not really well maintained, masses of leaves and other garbage lying around everywhere. access to the pitches with the caravan is a struggle, where do i get through to get to the pitch? the lanes are far too narrow. we were not enthusiastic about the cp, their advertising promises a lot, but the facts are different. unfortunately.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

A very nice site that easily deserves its 4 stars. There are 3 new, very clean sanitary buildings. The pitches are all more or less under trees and therefore shady. Even at this time, the staff were still very friendly and helpful. The site is not overcrowded - could almost be considered an insider tip, so thankfully you can't be spoken to in German on every corner. The store... on the campsite offers the essentials, but there is almost everything nearby, from supermarkets to farm stores. Thanks to the good highway connection, the campsite is an ideal starting point for sightseeing in the surrounding area. The campsite offers plenty of activities for young and old without disturbing peace and relaxation. The price is pleasantly low, even in the high season. From the A1 towards Perugia, it's about 20 km on the dual carriageway to beautiful Lake Trasimeno. Perfect for a longer vacation here. Tuscany to the west, Umbria to the east. Ideal for visits to Siena, Perugia, Chianciano Terme etc. Level pitches bordered by trees. Restaurant,... bar, beach, everything there! 3 identical, new san buildings in Tuscan style and top modern ! Electric entrance door, self-disinfecting toilet seats, large showers... The most beautiful san buildings I have seen in Italy. CEE power points, dogs welcome, friendly staff, ACSI card. I've eaten my best spaghetti alio e olio here so far. Very nice, shady pitches. Plenty of clean sanitary facilities. The large lawn by the lake is wonderful for sunbathing. Der D.June 2014The campsite is located on the lake between Tuscany and Umbria.The campsite is easy to reach via the A1 Valdichina exit. From here you can make excursions to the nearby cities of Florence, Siena, Assisi and Perugia. There are two small pools and a restaurant on the site, but it didn't look very inviting. Moje dzieci nie chciały stąd wyjeżdżać. Przeogromny teren do rekreacji, z regularnie podlewaną trawą: boiska, plac zabaw, 2 baseny. Warto jednak zabrać z domu swoje czepki kąpielowe - na dużym basenie są one obowiązkowe a cena 3 euro to trochę... dużo jak pomnożyć przez liczbę członków rodziny. Bardzo przyzwoite sanitariaty, szczególnie te dla dzieci są przemyślane i przyjazne. Miła obsługa, ten kemping naprawdę ma swój klimat. Choć to już Umbria, blisko stąd do Cortony (10 km), w której kręcono Pod słońcem Toskanii. Blisko również do Castiglione del Lago, gdzie jest uroczy zamek i market znanej nam w Polsce sieci (ceny w kempingowym sklepie raczej wyśrubowane).Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

- Wolfgang S.March 2011We spent Easter on this site in a mobile home (third-party provider). The mobile home was a horror and we wanted to leave immediately. The German-speaking campsite management immediately accommodated us and we were able to move into a new mobile home that had not yet been occupied. The site is beautifully... situated and has just been redesigned. This caused some noise, but we were understanding. After all, when should you renovate a pitch if not in spring? The sanitary facilities are new, the showers a poem! You rarely find showers this good, even in Germany. Everything looked very well-kept. The swimming pool was not yet open at this time, nor was the bike rental. Only the supermarket was already open, but it was still sparsely stocked. The small town of Castiglione is situated on a hill and is perfect for a stroll. From the campsite you can also make beautiful excursions to Perugia or Montepulciano.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
