The staff are nice when they are there. The pitches are overgrown with young grass and separated by high hedges. The numerous tall trees are great for the climate and shade, which of course limits satellite reception to a... few pitches. The pitches are sufficiently large and level, the paths and quality of the sanitary facilities, water and electricity are OK. WLAN available. Sanitary facilities are always clean, the pitches are well maintained, the grass on the pitches could be mowed from time to time. I have read in other reviews it would be disturbed by cobwebs in the sanitary building. These are at a height of 4-5m in the pointed roof at the exhaust air windows, where the animals do an excellent job in my opinion. Everything is clean downstairs, it is cleaned several times a day.
Now my criticism:
The campsite is quietly located at the end of an island on the Rhine. This is unfavorable because the advertised bar and restaurant (in unity) are probably only open at weekends. The camping store, which should also offer fresh bread, is probably closed in the low season, at least for the time being. So every time you want to go out for a meal or get fresh bread or other snacks, you have to drive from the island (France) to Germany to do your shopping there. It's only a few kilometers, but it's time-consuming.
WHAT is cheeky in my opinion is that they advertise with equipment that is only offered if it is economical. Yes, it is currently quite empty here, the daily opening of the bar / restaurant is not economical, but at least fresh bread could be offered by the campsite management. The advertised swimming pool was also not open.
The games room could also be better maintained. Table tennis/boules/badminton courts/basketball
Top lighting without it being too bright

We were able to choose our pitch from many. Shady, sunny, larger smaller, everything was possible. The pitches are divided into lots and separated by bushes, the electricity connection is close by. Very friendly reception staff, clean sanitary facilities and a peaceful setting almost on the Rhine made the days go by too quickly. Although we had asked several times, the catering of 40 guests with the same menu in the restaurant would not have been a problem, but... the result was catastrophic: The fried potatoes were partly cold and undercooked and the service was overwhelmed. Connections still with Schuko sockets, water on site. Sanitary clean, but poorly maintained. Showers only had dripping water, except for the disabled shower and family shower. Hooks in the cabins mostly missing. Overall, the... place has a lot of potential, which should be used. Location is good, you are quickly in the surrounding towns and in the Baden wine cellar. Not overcrowded even in July.Olumsuz yanlarıWith a little gardening and minor improvements to the sanitary facilities (paper and soap), the site could become an insider tip.Island camping on the RhineFriendly and helpful reception, also in German. Pitches partly shaded in different sizes. Connections for electricity (French plug), water and waste water are grouped together for 4 to 6 pitches. Three sanitary blocks are spread across the site. The sanitary facilities are somewhat carelessly equipped... with a lack of shelves and hooks. Only the disabled and toddler facilities with toilet, washbasin and shower are spacious. There is no paper or soap. The site itself is centrally located between the Rhine and the canal. Party boats are clearly audible towards the evening. Otherwise, there is a lack of floral decorations to create a vacation atmosphere. The beds laid out for this purpose contain weeds and unkempt bushes. To our surprise, there were no mosquitoes at all in July. As we really liked Breisach and the surrounding area, we will definitely be back. Ideal for us as a base for excursions to the wine villages in Alsace and Colmar. Breisach is a larger town right next door. We were almost the only ones on the campsite on May 1st, so only the right side seen from the entrance was mowed and only one sanitary building... was open. Logically, everything else was still in hibernation. However, bread rolls could be ordered. I think, as mentioned here, the left side is probably a bit quieter. But noise only comes from the ship loading point on the other side of the canal. I would like to mention the very hard-working and helpful people at the reception. Tip: If you are hungry on the day of arrival, we can recommend the restaurant Le Caballin. It is located not far from the CP on the Île du Rhin Sud.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

Large, quiet and shadow emplacement. Simple and clean baths. No much organized activities for children, but safe playground and contest to let them go around alone! The campsite is fairly well structured, with infrastructure and quality of service well above average. Can't wait for the next time, but I hope I'll be accompanied this time. We had a mobile home, occupied by the grandparents and the little pitchoune, while my husband, the children and I occupied a family tent on the site next door. We have already spent Ascension and Whitsun on this site twice. It is well suited for bicycle excursions in the direction of D and F.
