On a branch of the Loire
We received a very friendly welcome in fluent English and were able to choose a place. The reception includes a small store for the essentials. Baguettes and croissants can be pre-ordered for the next morning, except for Mondays. The pitches are on firm, level grass, which hardly softens even when it... rains. Lots of trees provide plenty of shade. Popular with anglers.
There are two WiFi networks, one free of charge directly at the reception, but no longer works in the lounge 15m away, and a chargeable network throughout the site. Cost = €4 for the entire stay. The avenue to the headland outside the campsite is ideal for short walks with the dog.

No supply and disposal station on the pitch
Beautiful CP directly on the Loire
Very nice campsite right next to Decize. Pitches large and relatively flat. Mostly shady. No pool but swimming pool adjacent approx. 50m to the entrance (2.5€) - no noise pollution. Some pitches directly on the banks of the Loire - almost always occupied. Through a gate it is possible to use the beach... volleyball court on the beach and to swim in the Loire. Supply and disposal facilities for motorhomes in front of the entrance gate. Use is only possible with a credit card. Fresh water can also be filled up free of charge at the campsite. The sanitary facilities (3) are clean and modern. Unfortunately, the temperature in the showers cannot be selected. No food supply on the site. Small supermarket within walking distance in the village. There are also numerous restaurants and bars. Many possibilities for excursions by bike on the well-developed cycle paths along the Loire and on adjacent canals that are no longer used commercially. Excursions by canoe are also possible. Adjacent campsite run by the company "rucksackreisen.de" All in all, a lovely campsite with a good price-performance ratio.

Directly on the Loire
We were able to moor our canoe directly at the campsite and were given a pitch right next to the landing stage. The site is parceled out and shady. The sanitary facilities are modern and up to date. You just have to bring your own toilet paper. There is a lounge with a TV. The staff are very friendly. You can also buy drinks on the pitch. There is a leisure facility right next to the campsite, also for small children.

The public outdoor and indoor swimming pool is right next door. There is also a small park with mini golf and a playground right next door.

Not for people who like animation and action.
Beautifully balanced
The campsite is located directly on the river. An ideal stopover for Loire paddlers. But you can easily stay here for a few days. Idela for all those who prefer to camp surrounded by beautiful tall trees rather than pitches. Not much action, a quiet, pristine site but everything is well looked after.

Between the Loire and the Canal latéral
Large pitch on the water (unsecured bank - small children!) Pitch size mostly sufficient, a little tight on the water. Brand new sanitary blocks, bread service even in low season. Road on the other bank of the canal a little noisy. Noise level problematic at weekends as football stadium right next door including petards. Worth seeing is the old (18th century, national monument), kilometer-long avenue of lime trees/planes right next to the square.

Large pitch on the outskirts of Dezise. Spacious, level pitches on a meadow by the Loire. Very reasonable prices, but no shopping facilities on site. The nearest stores are 1 km away in the center of Dezise. Starting point for cycle tours along the Loire and the Canal d`Nivernais.
