Relaxed camping in the high season
Despite the high season, not the usual crowds. Only one row of pitches and meadow all around. WLAN unreliable. The site also offers very original bungalows, some floating on the lake or in trees. There are also animal enclosures which are particularly popular with younger children. The rope park is also... perfect for children. The area is beautiful, but you've seen it once. Hundreds of lakes, beautiful forests to walk through. A visit to the nearby bird park is worthwhile. Also a trip to Lyon. Therefore: highly recommended!

Many local offers. Great bathrooms. Good atmosphere.

No coffee in the morning. No water in the (bathing) lake in April. Offers usually cost extra.
Very nice campsite
We were there in April. The catering is more geared towards late risers or self-caterers. Very nice operators, bar with espresso, ice cream, hot dogs, waffles, even more on offer in summer, the (artificial) lake was empty and was available for us to play ball / frisbee etc.. Nespresso or similar from 9(?) at reception or from 11 at the bar.

Interesting place on the way south
We were there in the fall vacations, in the absolute low season and almost alone, is ideally located for "toll payers" on the Route National from Bourg en Brasse to Lyon. Beautifully situated in a beautiful lake landscape. Unfortunately, all the attractions were understandably already closed, but we... suspect that our children would have loved it there when everything was still in operation. So it was extremely quiet. The pitches are large, absolutely flat, half of them gravel or pure grass. Electricity connections nearby, water not directly at the pitch. On the site there are very unusual rental accommodations above enclosures of wild animals (deer, roe deer, wild boar ...) Very original idea, beautiful wooden houses. Sanitary facilities partly new and of course absolutely clean in the low season (no one else was there ;)) We will probably come back in the high season.

The sanitary facilities are unfortunately only basic French, which is always a shame.
Not just good for an overnight stay.
On our way south, we were looking for a cheap place to spend the night and the ACSI guide brought us here. The fairly large pitches were well-kept and parceled out with hedges; there were both shady and sunny spots. However, the electricity distribution boards were a bit dilapidated, the money here is... being invested in other things, more on that later. Only normal plugs, not all of them worked, probably fuses here and there outside. - Only one of the sanitary facilities was open at the end of April. French simple. No separation ladies + gentlemen. Built open, i.e. cool inside when it's cool outside. Toilets at least with seats, but without paper. At least one hot shower and one disabled toilet, used by many because it has a washbasin. Sinks only outdoors. >>> Really great: a huge pool with a large sandy beach (public, entrance fee for non-campers). And a fairly large pond with water bungalows ranging from simple to luxurious. Some are accessible by jetty, but many can only be reached by paddle boat. Pure romance. And if you're not comfortable on the water, there are several tree houses to choose from - great! Most also have a view of the lake! There is also a large climbing park, paintballing and fishing. A fenced wildlife park with an observation tower. Two tennis courts. In summer, many French people who don't want to go all the way to the coast probably have fun here.
