With large caravans you have to hold your breath and go through... WC and showers are old - should probably be renewed. Showers are free. Restaurant next door has a beer garden and is great. Actually a good location with good leisure facilities, but unfortunately the site is right next to the B49 (four lanes/100 km), which is an important link between Giessen and Limburg. The volume of vehicles and the background noise are correspondingly high.... We stayed there for two nights. The pitches for transit campers are micro-sized and gravelled. Electricity, water and waste water are available. The sanitary block has the charm of a mine washhouse. 70s/early 80s style. The washbasins are arranged in the middle, the mirrors are on the outside wall. An imposition for wet shavers. The toilets are distinguished by different glasses - or none at all. In short: the owner has announced that the sanitary facilities will be renovated in winter 2018/19. But this is really overdue. Next year, I'll take a look here to see if the ratings have improved. Otherwise, the site is located on the Dutenhofener See lake, which offers a wide range of leisure activities. Wetzlar is worth a trip, the old town is great and worth seeing.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

With a Sprinter and large caravan, we were guided through the super narrow paths through the site. Unfortunately, caravan after caravan. Hardly any room for an awning. Unfortunately, there wasn't much sign... of relaxation as the campsite is right next to a busy road and the train tracks. Dog excrement and cigarettes everywhere, even on the beach. An absolute no-go with two small children. The sanitary facilities are very outdated and dirty. Too bad, but we won't be coming back here.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

There is no washbasin in the toilets but a smelly chemical toilet sink. Hot water only in the morning and evening. Only cold water at the sink. Everything dirty and unkempt. At least it was a meadow, but it was right next to a busy four-lane highway that was used all night (including by trucks). That is not possible. The limited times for hot water can also be annoying. Nevertheless, I think the pitch is good value for money. I pay €13 per night for one person with a camper van and electricity, so you can't expect... a 5-star pitch. The restaurant is super tasty, large portions and good value. There is also a Globus supermarket nearby for very cheap meals. In the immediate vicinity there is a water ski facility and a nudist beach where a day ticket costs 2 euros. I was immediately warmly welcomed by the permanent campers. I've never been camping before but what we experienced there was really tough. The men's toilets were clogged and it hadn't gone away after 2 days. The women's toilets were shaky and even the washbasins and showers were extremely... dirty. Yesterday we were evicted by the groundsman from the little wooden house belonging to the campsite, which can be used for cooking and barbecuing, because someone had rented the house to celebrate a birthday. It seems that the groundsman is very busy with the organization of the tents and the repairs on the entire campsite. He was not only unfriendly to us. The staff at the ticket office for the bathing lake let us through the exit barrier with difficulty. She was very unfriendly and then argued because it was still 15 minutes into the lunch break. As we were "knackered" we stayed. 21.-€ for a pitch with totally outdated sanitary facilities. Chemical spout in the toilet area, next to the urinals. Hot water at fixed times, no hygiene articles (hand wash basin or Sterilium) in the toilet area. Never again! With relatively little effort, the site could also be interesting for transit campers, especially as there are not (yet) any decent campsites in the entire central Hessian region. Above all, the sanitary facilities are in urgent need of... renovation and even some permanent campers should have the site rules put under their noses! A mother with two children told me that she and her family shower in the motorhome. In her opinion, the public order office should intervene here. I wouldn't go that far, but a good and thorough cleaning followed by disinfection should be enough.... A continuous control rhythm would also be helpful. The sanitary facilities for visitors to the bathing lake consist of a wooden stall with a metal gutter for men, and things are no better for women. The large sandy beach and the playground are unfortunately misused as sunbathing areas. It is especially bad when the weather is particularly nice. The pitch itself is gravelled, with water and waste water on site. The permanent campers all around are very friendly.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
