- S B.June 2021Olumlu yanlarıCleanliness of the sanitary facilitiesOlumsuz yanlarıPitches very crookedWonderful locationYou really can't ask for more in terms of views, right on the north face of the Eiger. Unfortunately, the pitches are very, very uneven and the WLAN only works at the wash house. I think more could be doneOtomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Caroline S.December 2015Olumlu yanlarıgreat locationOlumsuz yanlarınone;-)Beautiful locationWe stayed at the campsite for a few days with our motorhome. The site is in a very nice location. Right next to the Männlichen cable car. The village can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes. The ski slope runs right past the campsite. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but clean. The pitches for mobile homes are not straight. High wedges are necessary.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Susanne L.August 2015Olumlu yanlarınice location, good wifiOlumsuz yanlarısloping meadowCamping with a view of the mountainsThe campsite is surrounded by mountains and close to the Männlichen cable car. The village center is about half an hour away (on foot) and the pitches are on a sloping meadow, which has very few flat pitches (wooden wedges available). There are sufficient sanitary facilities and they are also relatively clean. The Wifi is expensive, BUT it works perfectly! The site is very quiet at night, but you can hear the trains passing by during the day.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Čápová K.June 2015Olumlu yanlarısituationOlumsuz yanlarıpriceQuite expensive campThe situation of the campsite is good, you can see Eiger while having a breakfast. But this advantage is reflected in the price. On the other hand, they gave us 50% discount to mountain First cableway.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Roland H.August 2013The location of the campsite in front of the north face of the Eiger is unique. However, the campsite itself is more reminiscent of a pitch, as in summer the motorhomes have to be parked so close together that there is hardly any room for a table and chairs. The owner even wanted to charge me the price... for 2 pitches to put up an awning on the VW bus. The sanitary facilities have the charm of the 1960s and are in need of renovation. The campsite is designed for the highest possible return, little investment and as many paying guests as possible. The restaurant is completely overpriced. The mountain railroads are all within easy walking distance from here, and the center of Grindelwald is not far either.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Eldezento M.July 2013Beautiful location on the edge of the village with a view of the north face of the Eiger. Train station can be reached on foot in a few minutes. small pitches. expensive wifi.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Brian G.August 2011Lovely location but pitches rather poorly laid out with unsafe access to power points. Male toilet/shower block over-crowded and unsanitary because of lack of facilities. Could do better!Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Johanna S.October 2010We really liked the pitch and especially the location. There are also permanent campers on the site, but they are all "crammed together" in one corner. There are no pitches on the large meadow in the middle of the cow pastures (there is a ringing noise all around during the day and in the morning the... farmers have driven some cows across the campsite). The pitch is quite sloping, so wedges are helpful. So everyone pitched the way they wanted (at other times it may not be so idyllic). Two large "integrated" vehicles had a hard time on the still somewhat damp meadow! Power supply: 10 A. There is a small barbecue hut. The hotel restaurant and the small sun terrace directly on the pitch are okay, as are the washing facilities, although the water could have been warmer in my opinion. The site is really beautiful, with a direct view of the north face of the Eiger. The train goes up to Grindelwald-Ort about 1 km away, but you can also walk there in 20 minutes (uphill, of course). There is also a cable car about 1 km from the CP up to Männlichen. From Grindelwald itself there are countless possibilities to get up to the mountains, e.g. to the Jungfraujoch (the trip currently costs 140 SF per person). There is also a "Landi" supermarket 10 minutes away (flat route). An ideal place to leave the Cali and go hiking or take one of the many bus routes up into the mountains. We paid 81.60 SF for two nights. We will go there again!Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Theresa G.August 2010A very beautiful campsite. The view of the north face of the Eiger is simply gigantic. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. Nice operators.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
