- Vojtěch K.July 2023Olumlu yanlarıBakery with fresh pastries every day. Pleasant perzonal.Olumsuz yanlarıSmall shop. Smelly toilets and bathrooms. If you have a dog, there's nowhere to go. The area around the campsite is full of rubbish and dirt. Not very cleanCampsite by the sea, where you can find a place without reservation, but the toilets are terrible. It should be renovated, so that you don't feel like in the public toilets at the station.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Cathren P.August 2022Olumlu yanlarıNice little place where dogs are really welcome and nobody complains when the dog goes into the water on the beachOlumsuz yanlarıPlayground at the beach pitchesAlmost perfectFamily with 3 noisy children occupied one of the three barbecue areas every day from 13h to 19h, so that there was really no peace and quiet. The children at the playground were also extremely loud until well into the evening. It would be nice if the playground was closed from 8pm, because hours of children... screaming is not everyone's cup of tea. The campsite was described as quiet in the reviews. That's why we were there at the end of the vacations, but there were still a lot of families with children who are simply inconsiderate due to today's upbringing. But it's not the campsite's fault.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Karin S.June 2022Olumlu yanlarıApart from the "better" pitches at the top of the road, which you should avoid, quiet, good bakery with a large selection, clean sanitary facilities, small market on site, otherwise supermarkets in Umag, have been to many places in Croatia, this is one of the good ones. By the way, we don't do glampingOlumsuz yanlarıThe € 40 transferred in advance with the booking must be claimed when paying - bad picture, should be stopped as soon as possible, especially since the complaint was immediately credited - was probably also visible in the system.Recommended, with the possible exception of peak seasonFor campers, this is a small, manageable site where you feel well looked after. At least that's how we felt during our stay this June. There are probably a lot of permanent campers there, which at least we found very positive, as we had an elderly couple in the immediate vicinity. From the moment we... arrived, we had a very good relationship the whole time and were happy to receive lots of tips and recommendations.
Perhaps we were just lucky, especially as we had never sought or had any contact at many campsites that are occupied by many permanent campers. As a rule, however, the relationship was mutual.Otomatik olarak çevrildi. - Susi M.August 2020Olumlu yanlarıLocation is right by the sea and not far from Umag.Olumsuz yanlarıPitches in the first row are used as shortcuts and crossed by guests with bicycles and dogs. Very annoying. Sanitary is not cleaned often and is dirty. Pitch is not nicely laid out.Simple place not recommendedWe paid a lot of money for a pitch in the first row. The fact that several dogs do their business here every day and children ride their bikes over my air mattress was a reason for us to leave early. A path should be marked on the site plan and the pitches should be separated.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Melinda T.August 2019Olumlu yanlarıClean, much cheaper than e.g. Park Umag, shadyOlumsuz yanlarıLittle sanitation, no blue seaShort tripShort holiday on 20 Aug. The campsite has plenty of shade and a playground for children. The restaurant and shop are horrendously expensive. The sanitary facilities are super clean, but there are not enough showers and toilets for so many people. The beach is not the pronounced azure Croatian sea, it... is a small bay, sandy, pebbly, rocky, concrete. The water is murky because of the first one, you have to go in a lot if you want to swim, but there were a lot of small children because of the sandy beach. Absolutely dog camping, I think we were the only ones without dogs.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

- Andreas M.August 2018Olumlu yanlarıAlways help if you ask nicely. Problems are addressed, clean, friendly, helpful. Price-performance okOlumsuz yanlarıAnnoying campers who think they can get there and who own the place (especially Germans and Italians).Years of experience with StatementCommunity, first of all I have to get something off my chest here. When I see some entries, unclean, unfriendly, all crap ...etc. then I ask myself the question, where were you? Which place are you talking about? I have been going to Croatia for 18 years now and 10 years to this campsite in Finida. Of... course there are unclean toilets, especially when the cleaning ladies are away and a drunken man shits all over them shortly after they have been cleaned (I saw this myself this year) Of course they are unfriendly (as you shout in the forest, so it sounds out again) among us, no one has ever been unfriendly to me. Of course there are dog poo piles lying around, because if the dog owners don't clean them up, they'll be there until the next day (dog bags / poo bags are available free of charge !!!) I paid attention this year, but found NO piles, although there were considerably more dogs than usual. Of course there are screaming children. Just between you and me, are you in a good mood every day? Do you have children? Then you know what I mean. I read that Slovenians are given preferential treatment. Correct, I have to say that's true. Imagine you have a store where the same people always come to shop, now a walk-in customer comes in, who do you serve first? Regular customers or walk-in customers? Please be honest. The Slovenians are regular customers there, every year, some of them year-round customers, which has never bothered me. Restaurant this year, super class. Market also very well equipped, more offers than usual. There is no lunch break until September, whoever says that is simply lying. From September, when the season comes to an end, they are open for a shorter time, of course, then the customers will also be fewer, because it MUST be profitable. I think the place is brilliant for single people, couples and families and can only recommend it!!!Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Gabi S.August 2018Olumlu yanlarıcozy, friendly. clean...Olumsuz yanlarıShopping is not possible without a car.Small, nice....We stayed there for 2 weeks and felt very comfortable. The place is great for couples with and without dogs. However, I have my doubts as to whether it is very suitable for children, as the beach is a "Haxnbrecherstrand", to use the Tyrolean term. This means that the shore is rocky and jagged, and this... continues for quite a long way under water. It's easy to slip into a crevice and injure yourself. The restaurant is very good, the supermarket on site has everything you need, but nothing more. You should shop for something special in the surrounding area. And one more thing: people, take really good stone ground pegs with you, ours bent like butter when you hammered them in....Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

- Heike B.June 2018Olumlu yanlarıLocation by the sea and relatively flatOlumsuz yanlarıStreet in the immediate vicinityCampsite located directly on the Adriatic SeaThe campsite is not that big between the road and the Adriatic, unfortunately you can hear the road very well on some pitches. Many permanent campers in their own section. Own bathing bay. Some pitches with a direct, unobstructed view of the Adriatic. Partly shade, partly sun. - Christine S.September 2017Olumlu yanlarıSmall and fine, beautifully situatedOlumsuz yanlarıNo cycle pathsBeautiful, small campsiteA campsite situated under pine trees, with a good restaurant and small supermarket. The sanitary facilities were clean and relatively new. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately Umag is difficult to reach by bike as you have to cycle along the busy country road. It was certainly not the last time we were there.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Regine T.June 2017Olumlu yanlarınice staff, clean sanitary facilities, super tasty restaurant or rather small tavern, but really good Croatian dishesOlumsuz yanlarıthe beach is small and very inconvenient to get into the water.Recommended campsiteunfortunately the beach is not so good in a small bay, but we cycled to the other side and everything was fine... They are also very relaxed with dogs and the small towns around are highly recommended. Conclusion: great and relaxing vacationOtomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Steffi P.September 2016Olumlu yanlarıPitches well protected by trees. Restaurant on site great.Olumsuz yanları- WC facility full of birds - Staff unfriendly - Sea access difficult for both humans and dogsLow budget place without any comfortWe were there on a recommendation, but what they liked about the place is a mystery to us. When we arrived, we were given a map of the site and told to go and look for a pitch: you can take one where there is none. On arrival, our ID cards were collected. The pitch itself is small and cramped. We have... an 8 meter Wowa, with which it was very borderline and we had to maneuver a lot. We chose a pitch near sanitary 2 by the sea; a big mistake. The sanitary facilities are besieged by birds, which make a mess of everything. Despite the frequent cleaning, it is really very disgusting. At night the light in the toilets was not sufficient and you had to relieve yourself in the dark and make sure the birds didn't get on your head. When we wanted to go on an excursion to Italy, the very unfriendly lady at reception only handed over our ID cards after a lengthy discussion. The place is relatively cheap, which unfortunately was also noticeable in the clientele. The site is only suitable for dogs to a limited extent; the access to the water is very stony and we were warned by other campers as soon as we arrived, as there had probably been several seriously injured paws in the last few days. The pizzeria on site is highly recommended and offers delicious food. The small store on site is also well stocked and very friendly.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

- Gerhard K.July 2015Olumlu yanlarıSome beautiful pitches with oak trees for shade and showers by the sea.Olumsuz yanlarıNo sunbathing lawns, no W-Lan on the pitch, only at the reception for a fee, too few enclosed shower cubicles.Never again in JulyThe place is 80% occupied by permanent campers, it resembles a camper village, the problem is the children of the permanent campers, as they make noise unsupervised from early morning until 11 p.m. From July onwards, you should avoid this place as a quiet canper.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

- Klaus-Dieter J.August 2014Olumlu yanlarıquiet placeOlumsuz yanlarıDog excrementSpace for rest and relaxationA very good place for people looking for peace and relaxation. The staff are always very friendly and courteous. The sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned and are in good condition. The restaurant on site offers tasty and very extensive dishes. Unfortunately, the menu is a little short. There is... a very narrow strip of beach/lawn, which is unfortunately used by many dog owners as a dog toilet. Of the 200 pitches for tourists, 80% were certainly occupied by dog owners. An enormous number for such a small site (we ourselves have been going on vacation with at least one dog for many years). However, we have never experienced such a "mess". The campsite staff did absolutely nothing about it.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Andreas M.August 2014Olumlu yanlarıLocation. Quiet. Price performanceOlumsuz yanlarıStone floor, no sandy beach (doesn't bother me)Been there for the sixth timeWe are permanent visitors to the camp and I don't understand some of the comments here. If you go or want to go to Croatia, you should find out what the surroundings and the camp are like. I'll take up a few topics here so that there is clarity about the complaining here. As I said, we have been going... to the same campsite for 6 years and will be back next year. Cleanliness ? Is a given, not only is it wiped several times an hour in the sanitary facilities, but basic cleaning is also carried out twice a week. When there are about 2000 people on the site, it can happen that one or the other sees a red floor, which is not unusual with red soil on the ground. When I see campers leaving the toilets, some of them shit all over the site and complain, unbelievable. Friendliness ? What goes around comes around. Never, really never have we encountered unfriendly staff, neither in the toilet block, nor in reception and certainly not in the market, so always keep your voice down. Dogs ! The dog poo is not the fault of the site, it's the fault of the campers. I myself saw a man walking his dog across our pitch and the dog left his poo there. On the way back, the man stepped in the pile and complained. Well, what can you say? Quiet! There is. Unless you are at the barbecue station, beach volleyball court, where it can get louder during the day, otherwise it's quiet. Loud campers, that has nothing to do with the place and if you want to complain, the reception usually reacts immediately, that's how it was with us. From 10 pm the security guard goes around and points to the clock and from 11 pm there is hardly a sound to be heard, except the crickets and a few laughs from the neighbors, which is not disturbing. Animation ! There is none (thank God) Price-performance ratio! Is ok, even if it gets more expensive every year, everything is still within reason. Restaurant ......da the portions have become smaller but everything is still within reason. Sandy beach ! People please, I'm wetting myself laughing. Do your research ......in the whole of Istria, no, there is NO sandy beach in the whole of Croatia, unless it has been artificially created. It's all rocky coast, that should be clear to everyone. You can also forget about normal pegs when camping, stone ground, just for your information .......... We continue to go there because we are respected, just as we respect the Croats. If you have a big face or misbehave, you shouldn't be surprised. Smooth stars for me !!!Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
- Cori M.July 2014We won't be back! This place is just an outrage! How it can get so many stars and good ratings is a mystery to me! We had booked a superior pitch...as a reminder: 100 square meters, fixed water connection, SAT TV connection. It was only partly 100sqm, depending on the pitch. But mostly much smaller! A fixed water connection... is fine, if it would work. The staff were made aware of this. But nothing was repaired. SAT TV no chance on many pitches. The wash houses were reasonably clean, but I expect much better and cleaner sanitary facilities from a 4 star site. Wash house 1, which we always used, was mediocre. Number 2 was always dirty as all the people from the beach go there. It wouldn't have hurt to clean it more often. Number 3 was tidy and much bigger than the others. There was even paper to dry your hands. But as a normal vacationer, you got a pretty nasty look in the house. Apparently the predominantly Slovenian permanent campers want to be on their own. The sea at the campsite is not particularly clean and you can only get in really well in one place, namely at the jetty. We don't recommend going straight in at the front. Everything is muddy there and you sink in deep. Even at the jetty you can't get into the water very well, you have to be careful when swimming as there are very large stones in the water. The staff are very unfriendly. We only experienced one receptionist who was friendly. The supermarket on the campsite is only open until 2pm. You can buy the essentials there. Only the restaurant is worth mentioning. For a restaurant on a campsite, the food was good, sufficient and ok in terms of price. Nothing special, but sufficient! The staff there were very friendly. Slovenian campers are obviously given preferential treatment, sometimes other guests are simply left standing even though they have been waiting longer and the Slovenian guests are looked after first. They are also always helped to put the caravan in the right place. There is always someone from the staff on hand to help push etc. The pitch itself is nice and quiet, you don't hear much from the road next door. It's a shame that this is what you get for the money. A little more friendliness from the staff and a better layout of the pitches would improve things considerably. If you still want to go to the site, maybe you should just go there on the off-chance and choose a pitch directly, but I wouldn't make a reservation beforehand if you don't know the pitch. Because then it can happen that you get a bad pitch. Oh yes, the description of the site mentions a beach volleyball court. This no longer exists. There are now pitches in the same place.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
