Many possibilities for excursions.Olumsuz yanlarıSometimes overbooked (by groups)Good location with fewer mosquitoesNice site, not always level for tents, but good ground for pegs. The pitches for motorhomes are level and usually have an electricity connection. The upper pitches with a view of the lake are very popular and fill up quickly. During our visit, some of the sanitary facilities were locked. These could... do with some modernization. A large kitchen tent has been set up for campers, where they can stay in cold and bad weather. There are excellent excursions from this site: Nàmaskard, Krafla, Dimmuborgir, Hverfjall, the new blue lagoon at Rejkjalidh etc. You can book very "cheap" sightseeing flights from the adjacent airfield. This is highly recommended! The aircraft noise is not disturbing.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
Jürg B.July 2013Beautifully situated, terraced site above Myvatn. Sanit. Facilities simple and clean, electricity connections available, W-Lan in the reception area. Good shopping facilities, restaurant, petrol station and swimming pool within a 10-minute walk. The nearby airfield, only for small airplanes, has little... activity and does not disturb. Many excursion possibilities > Blue Lagoon > Dimmu Borgir/Lava Field with the remains of a lava lake, > Namafjell/Mountain Ridge, which is still an active volcano.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.
