Small site Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities Grotto easily accessible on foot swimming pool

beautiful campsite
We were only there for 1 night, received a very friendly welcome and felt comfortable.
The grotto is a 20 minute walk away, we went to the torchlight procession in the evening, everything went well.
Toilets and showers are clean, pitches large enough.

Quiet, good place for road bike tours in the Pyrenees. Clean
Good place in Lourdes
Unfortunately we were only on the site for 2 days, for the visit to Lourdes. Beautiful place, spacious, friendly, relaxed. A 20-minute walk to Lourdes. Absolute peace and quiet.

Good location to the grotto
We stayed here for 2 nights to visit the grotto. Friendly welcome. Large pitches. No separation of the sanitary facilities by gender. Approx. 15 - 20 min. walk to the grotto. Small restaurant and store available. Wonderful view of the town from the swimming pool

Location, quiet as the name says practically in the forest.
Visit to the grotto
Stayed here for 2 nights to visit the grotto. Friendly welcome. It had been raining for days during our stay. "Stable" place for the motorhome was still found. Grotto was within walking distance. However, the entrance from the campsite side was closed due to flooding. Therefore further way.

Ideal for a visit to the grotto
We spent over a week here on our round trip. There is a lot of coming and going here. There are lots of camper vans in particular, most of which only spend 1-2 nights here to visit the grotto. The site operators were friendly and English-speaking. Daily baguette service and evening catering with various... dishes was offered. It was also possible to buy drinks and other everyday items. The sanitary facilities are somewhat older, but well maintained and were cleaned regularly. As is often the case in France, they are not heated. Unfortunately, there was only one other water point on the pitch apart from the sanitary facilities. Not ideal for the fresh water supply. The thing that bothered us the most was the great unrest on the pitch. At least during our stay, there were three large motorcycle groups staying in the mobile homes. They warmed up their bikes for an unnecessarily long time in the morning before setting off, sometimes with a constant roar of the engines. Then they set off, not only along the paths, but also partly across the plots of other campers. The same thing happened when we returned in the afternoon. It may be that many people don't mind the hustle and bustle in the morning and evening hours. For us, however, it was a reason not to come here again.
