Maximum suitability for an overnight stay
Contrary to some claims, the site is disastrously organized. Cleaning of the facilities and sanitary facilities is at an amateur level. The sanitary facilities were treated superficially once in the morning, no trace of cleanliness. Everything is rotten, moldy and dirty. Neither toilet seats nor toilet... paper available. The showers hardly give any water - and what little there is is often cold. The facilities were certainly of a good standard at the time of installation, but nothing is maintained there and certainly nothing is really professionally maintained. The planting on the site is below par. And the alleged security is a complete joke. The gates to the beach can be opened with a chip, but you don't even need this because the gates are usually open - even at night! The security staff (were they one or two men?) only have a placebo effect. The pool area is unkempt, the water doesn't drain, the lifeguards inattentive, mold and dirt everywhere. The pools themselves are mossy and the slides are used chaotically by all age groups in an accident-prone manner. Nobody really pays attention. There is no need to talk about gastronomy - lack of cleanliness and service does not indicate good quality. The reception was not very professional. The site is poor compared to several other sites in the Languedoc.

Very nice place right by the sea
We spent a very nice vacation here with our daughter, son-in-law and grandchild. Good location directly on the flat sandy beach. Very nice tropical pool area with lots of slides. Evening program worth seeing every day. In short, there is never a dull moment for young or old. Security is a top priority, security never sleeps and keeps a watchful eye. Access control to the beach

I've been coming to Vendres for 10 years and spent 9 years with a youth group at La Yole / neighboring campsite. If I had known how good this campsite was, I would have come to La Plage... come. Well, Vendres is camping hardcore, but the site is ENOUGH FOR EVERYTHING. 65 steps to the dune/beach. Top... sanitary facilities - clean and well maintained. Hot water until the doctor comes and huge pitches. In addition to my fixed 7m caravan, the pitch offers plenty of space for my camper, awning, bicycles & the Yamaha.... . Pizza delivery service, plenty of electricity and water are further tops of the site. For us (both 43/metal DJ) the animation was "borderline" but we are not the average in terms of music. O.K. 3 parallel campsite animations until 2 o'clock are not for everyone, but you can relax on the beach and on the pitch with wine and beer. As everywhere by the sea, charcoal barbecues are history here too !!! My conclusion: I HOPE THAT WE CAN KEEP OUR FIXED CARAVAN ON "LA PLAGE" FOR THE NEXT YEARS/TEENS.... .

The best thing first: The campsite is located directly by the sea with a very nice beach, whereby the water doesn't get deep very quickly, ideal for children. Access is secured by 3 gates that can be opened with a chip so that only campers can enter the site. Very friendly staff, German is also spoken... at reception. Many pitches have little or no shade, there are only a few pitches that are sufficiently shaded. Sanitary facilities are of a simple standard, separated for men and women and always clean. With full occupancy, there were occasional waiting times for showers in the ladies' area in the evening. The pool is large and has lots of play areas for children. Shopping is available in the form of a supermarket and a bakery. If you want, food can be delivered to the pitch. One annoying thing was a gate to the beach, which slammed shut without stopping, causing a constant banging noise. Our pitch, which was at the back of the campsite, was also blasted by the neighboring pitches in the evening until around midnight. All in all, we spent 2 very relaxing weeks here at a good price-performance ratio.
