We booked for a week and didn't regret it. The sanitary facilities are pleasantly bright and very well equipped, the shower and single cabins are very spacious, with additional built-in seats and sufficient coat hooks. Soaps are always available at the washbasins and... in the toilet area. The high-priced campsites should take this as an example. The sanitary facilities are always very clean. Everyone pays attention to cleanliness. If you have questions you always... get nice answers. Food is about 7 minutes walk away shopping center / drugstore etc .
Everything else can be reached quickly on foot but you are still nice and quiet in the Wad

The individual pitches are adequately sized and the electricity and water supply is... uncomplicated. It is possible to dispose of gray water and waste tanks.

The prices are very reasonable for what is on offer.
You can take a hot shower and wash up free of charge (as often as you like).
The sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained.
Liquid soap and toilet paper are provided.
The... operators are friendly and uncomplicated.
There is the full program in the surrounding area.
There is a shopping street right next to the site where you can buy pretty much anything.
The Rewe has a very good kebab where you can taste the freshness.
There is even a pizza machine in the parking lot that conjures up a fresh, delicious pizza in 3 minutes.
The beautiful town of Saarburg can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.
Here you can climb the Saarburg and enjoy the beautiful view as well as culinary delights.
The town center with its waterfall, bell foundry, museum, numerous stores with a wide range of products and especially the breathtaking gastronomy is really something. There are also plenty of opportunities to buy the world-famous Saar wine and sparkling wine.
A little further on there is a beautiful chairlift with exemplary staff that takes you up to the mountain station, where there is also a good restaurant where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the vineyards and their villages while eating or drinking.
In addition to the restaurant, there is a top toboggan run with a viewing platform from which you can watch your loved ones tobogganing. The top station can also be reached on foot, but thankfully the chairlift also takes you back down:-)

The nearby road can be heard, but is not disturbing. Short distances to shopping, bread sales from 8:00 at REWE or ALDI and and in 20 minutes you are in the city. As we had our car in the garage as soon as we arrived, we were able to manage without a car for the three weeks. Hiking and cycling tours could start right at the campsite. The electricity supply via a coin-operated column per pitch is good. If you think you need to consume a lot, you pay for it, but if you are economical, you save!Olumsuz yanlarıWe had a pitch with a firm surface, other pitches were very soft and the long periods of continuous rain during this time also contributed to this. However, this is currently being gradually improved by the operator. What was missing were water outlets or sinks distributed across the site. The water / waste water could only be collected / disposed of at the wash house.Vacation May 2023On the whole a recommendable place especially for hikers and cyclists.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.Olumsuz yanlarıThe pitch was 30% more expensive than discussed on the phone, instead of 22€ now 30€ is not possible. Electricity is not included in the price costs 0,70€ per kwh extra, no fresh and waste water directly at the pitch. No bread roll service or kiosk, in heavy rain the pitches are very muddy there is always the danger of getting stuck. 1€ garbage fee per person per night.Suddenly much more expensive than discussedIf you are told a price of 20€ plus daily garbage fee on the phone then that should be the case.
On the website under prices it says at the bottom in the low season with ACSI card 20€ per DAY from 3 nights without restrictions (such as public holidays do not count)
On departure the site suddenly costs... 30€ per night on public holidays, 4x 30€ were charged although there were only 3 public holidays Good Friday - Easter Sunday - Easter Monday.
The garbage fee is charged per person per day for 5 people, which is €5 per night.
Dogs are allowed but there is always a barker around who will make a noise every time you move.
Actually a nice place despite the main road very quiet if it weren't for the barker.
The sanitary facilities were very clean throughout the day.
Unfortunately no service at all such as kiosk, restaurant, bread service etc.

Toilets and showers are clean, staff are friendly, Saarburg itself is really pretty and there are lots of great excursions in the surrounding area. Het heeft geen winkeltje of zo, maar vlakbij is een fors winkelcentrum. Het is er rustig. Met een fiets is alles in de buurt gemakkelijk en goed te bereiken. De camperplaatsen zijn groot, voor tenten zijn er maar weinig rechte plekken.... Het sanitair is schoon en afdoende. Er is een groot zwembad vlakbij. Het personeel is voorkomend en flexible. Very nice, even if the system for hot showers seems somehow nonsensical: press a switch to get hot water for 5-6 minutes. I got a shower that didn't work and had to move... again. Otherwise it was very nice and very clean. The site was surprisingly full for the time of year and we had some difficulty finding a pitch where we couldn't get stuck because of the soft ground. It's also nice to be within walking distance of the town, which is well worth a visit and where you can also eat well.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

Not reserved and mega busy. But when we were kindly received by the boss lady and luckily she saw that we were beginners we were very well helped with tips and got the last nice place.
Beautiful campsite with many... permanent residents but also enough place for tourists.
Well maintained plumbing (3 times a day in the cleaning), everything is there for refill or discharge.
