Change of staff (unfriendly, harassing), sanitary totally unkempt/dilapidated

This WAS our favorite place for the last 30 years.
Now there is new staff on site.
We wanted to make a reservation (places we always had), but the first time we were told on the phone that the places are not reserved, but allocated on site.
We arrived and were pleased to find that 3 of the 5 pitches... in question were free. We were setting up (3 tents) when suddenly an elderly woman appeared and asked what we were doing. Had we made a reservation? No, because reservations were not possible on the phone. We were "only" registered. Then she said gruffly that we had to get out of there, the places were reserved. ??? Reservations possible after all ??? The people in question would come the next day. But the next day only a miserable old caravan arrived, not a single person. Lots of free space for tents. A day later, 4 French people came with 2 cars !!! without a trailer coupling !!! a kind of permanent camper, and blocked our vehicles or blocked them. This has never happened to us before and MUST remain an isolated case/deterrent example. Simply pathetic, that sort of thing!

nice seats, nice view, nice staff

rather expensive, unclean service house with low standard
nice reception, nice plots with lovely views of the Ardeche
very nice and large plots under trees directly on the river Ardeche. nice view on the river. many opportunities to go canoeing. service building unfortunately worn and not very clean. Nice surroundings... close to the town of Vallon pont Darc

The site is beautifully situated and, despite its proximity to the road, is not disturbed by traffic. The site has beautiful access to the Ardeche and even some sunbathing areas on grassy ground right by the river. If you don't need a pool, entertainment or tennis courts, this is the place for you. You... can set off on canoe trips directly from the campsite. The staff are very friendly and we had a very nice vacation here. However, this campsite is not suitable for people with disabilities.
