Sascha F.June 2019Olumlu yanlarıClose to Messina, it's easy to say goodbye to Sicily here, garbage is taken care of by strays and ants.Olumsuz yanlarıLet's put it this way: find another place!Do you know the term "bulldozer"?We drove to this only campsite in the north because we wanted to take the ferry from Messina to Calabria the following day. The pitch cost €18/night. All the instructions here are sprayed directly onto trees or smeared on the bathroom tiles. Directly on the beach there is a large concrete slab with wizened... washbasins and withered trees; it could probably best be compared to a prison inner courtyard, with vertical bars framing the 50x50m area. This area is also home to numerous ant colonies. The sanitary facilities are unusable, to put it mildly, and we won't go into further detail so that the memory fades as quickly as possible. You can do your laundry here for €3.50, but it's easier to dispose of your clothes directly in the bin, considering the state of the washing machine. Hot water in the showers is free and you don't have to pay with tokens! There is no animation on site, which is good, so you can finally sleep at night in Sicily! We will certainly be back!
