Clean sanitary buildings, including two smaller, modern sanitary containers in the tourist area and a large but outdated sanitary building in the permanent camper area. Good cycling facilities and a clean bathing lake. Although... it is a dog-friendly site and we are not dog owners, we think it is a shame that dogs are not allowed in the bathing lake in a place that is suitable for them.
If you are looking for relaxation, this would be the right place for you.

Now I've tried the site with a tent and was very satisfied. The tent pitch is right by the lake and the sanitary facilities are within walking distance. The bistro offers very tasty cakes and coffee, and good, simple food in the evening. At 6 p.m. the crowds are sometimes large, so you have to expect waiting times. The place is sooo beautiful, well-kept and clean. The lake is the highlight. Get out of the caravan and into the cool water. There are two great new small sanitary facilities and a large one, which is a bit outdated but always very clean. You... just have to like the operators. They are sooo nice and friendly. The mini golf course has had its best days. The parceled out pitches are often surrounded by high hedges, blocking the view of the lake.
Dogs must be kept on a lead and must be kept away from the beach.

The two playgrounds are very outdated and some are no longer safe for children. Some of the equipment is missing rungs and a lot is rusty. The staff are friendly. However, the sanitary facilities are no longer of an acceptable standard: there are small, outdated, unheated containers next to the tourist pitches, which can hardly be used except in midsummer, and the sinks are... outside. The only permanent sanitary building is functional, but is getting on in years. It is located 5 minutes away by bike! The main wash house can only be reached by bike and is also older. The pub and the food ... Nothing special either. Extra order like fried potatoes with currywurst is impossible, fried potatoes... only in combination with what is on the menu. The staff always try to be friendly.... Regular campers in the restaurant are suitable for entertainment. (Gossip about other campers.....) Oh yes.... Don't let the children on the two playgrounds. For more variety, you will still have to drive some miles, for example Spiekeroog, or Bremen.Experience camoing NordlohThere are not very many campsites in Ammerland, but was this a top location. Well maintained and clean plumbing, nice and quiet, lots of greenery with reasonable shade (but bring a parasol to get through the morning). Price quality is good. We paid 160 euros for 12 nights, two people, a tent and electricity,... which amounted to about 14 e per night. In addition, the area is very well equipped with bike trails, both nice shortcuts and long trails, ideal for cyclists.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

It's perfect for swimming enthusiasts, as the lake is in the middle of the campsite and you can get to the water quickly from all sides. It's also great for families with children. We have three and they all like it. You can also let the children... go off on their own without having to worry too much. Except for the little ones, of course, as they can easily fall into the water. On the whole, the site is relatively quiet, so you can relax. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but always well maintained and clean. The bistro invites you to linger. It is very cozy there and you can eat well and cheaply. You can choose whether you want to sit outside or inside and the staff are very, very friendly and nice. They also have time to have a quick chat with you. However, there is no view of the lake from most of the plots because the hedges are too high. Potential is wasted here. The toilets and showers are partly in containers but clean. The only permanent sanitary block is definitely 30 years old. Clean but old. It is quite... far away from the tourist sites and it is better to get there by bike. There is a lot of fishing on the lake and the beaches are clean and filled with sand.
