Andreas S.June 2019Only four kilometers from the borderThe campsite is located on a small island, which is about 500 x 250m in size and can be reached via a short bridge. We received a very friendly welcome in German and were allocated a pitch, with the advice that if we didn't like it, we could look for another one and let them know. The pitches for motorhomes... are gravelled with an adjoining lawn, although the lawn does not make a (rain)firm impression. The site is almost completely surrounded by trees and dense bushes, so unfortunately you can hardly see the water. A narrow path leads around the back half of the island, but is only recommended with mosquito repellent. Wifi is only available in the reception area. We paid 28 euros for a mobile home with 2 people and electricity at the beginning of June. Our dogs didn't cost anything extra. But very quiet at night. Flat terrain. Close to town. Lidl about 2 km away. Sanitary facilities very clean. Like everywhere in Finland with sauna. Pitch area is assigned.
