- Bernd B.June 2022Olumlu yanlarıThe team, the space, the facilitiesOlumsuz yanları(capricious weather) so nothing to do with the pitchAn "unplanned" campsiteAs the title suggests, the site was not planned. On the way to another campsite by the lake, we wanted to take a look at this campsite in Sommersdorf. Our first impression was positive, so we decided to stay for 2-3 days. The infrastructure confirmed the positive impression. But what persuaded us to... stay longer was the informal, very friendly and personal approach of the whole team on the site. Whatever our request was, they responded positively. Even when we asked where we could get fresh bread (there were no stores nearby), the answer was immediate: "My husband is going shopping later, he can bring you some." When we found out that my wife had serious back problems, everyone in the team kept asking how you were doing, can we do anything for you, etc. And it was clear that my wife had a lot of back problems. And it was clear that it was a matter of genuine sympathy.
We've been traveling with our little camper van for 3 months every summer for 10 years and, quite honestly, you can look for a place with such a team, from the boss to every member of staff, with a magnifying glass. We will definitely be going here again.

The restaurant is reasonably priced, the food was delicious and the service first class. The campsite was very quiet, which is exactly how we like it!

Water is billed according to consumption and the facilities also work. The showers are quite spacious and not too cramped. The reception is super nice. There is also a small camp store. If you wear a mask, you are smiled at with pity.Beautifully situated place, but...Apart from the problems described with observing the corona rules, the course is an absolute recommendation. It is possible to hire a motorboat and take it into the Peene, which flows through the lake. Pure nature, great.

We had a firm booking but spontaneously arrived a day earlier. The campsite operators did everything they could to get us a pitch for the extra night. The entire staff is absolutely great.
The snack bar was tested and found to be good.

We also recommend bathing shoes for swimming, as it is pure nature with shells, stones and seaweed.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a bread roll service, a few things for daily needs and a... small snack bar.
As there is only one toilet block (which is sufficient for the size of the pitch), the cleaning times in times of coronavirus take a little getting used to. But it is also really clean.

The children (6 and 4 years old) immediately made friends and were constantly out and about on their own.
When the weather is nice, the lake right on the doorstep is a dream.
The sanitary facilities are well maintained and cleaned three times a day. If all... campers adhered to the rules of use (no street shoes in the shower area etc), these areas would also be permanently clean.
The atmosphere on the site is very informal.
There are plenty of excursion destinations for families in the surrounding area (including castles, Ivenacker Eichen, etc.). We were lucky enough to get a pitch right on the lake and were able to enjoy the lake view to the full. There is a bread roll service and also a kiosk (with daily newspapers) on the site as well as a small snack bar (potato salad, sausage and pizza). The toilets... and washrooms are spatially (and therefore acoustically) separated. In the washrooms, the washbasins are separated by protective devices (i.e. very corona-compliant). Cleaning is a top priority here. You can use the showers, washing-up facilities and hotplates with a card on which credit is stored.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

I find the cleaning times of several hours, which take place three times a day, totally absurd and excessive! The cleaning lady actually wouldn't let me go to the toilet at 6.50 in the morning. Unbelievable.

Add to that the always warm and helpful operators, the spectacle of the sunset in the evening - it should be enough for a perfect vacation day. Plus the occasional live music or disco, not forgetting freshly smoked fish. The couples are large, everything is clean......... They really make an effort with everything so that you feel like you're in good hands. The pitches are beautifully laid out. Short distances to the wash house which was always clean. The beach area is also well maintained and suitable for children. We would have liked to spend a few more days there. Beautiful sunsets. A great area for cycling.
