We had reserved and got a pitch in the first row by the sea. However, it was only possible to get to the sea via a path down an embankment. The one flight of steps there was was filthy with grass clippings. The supermarket really only had the bare... essentials. There was no fruit or vegetables. The restaurant is at best a snack bar with burgers, hot dogs etc. The sanitary facilities were mostly clean but almost all defective. Shower heads could no longer be fixed in the holder or were no longer there at all. At night only one fluorescent tube was still burning from a long row. Between Porto and the old lighthouse.Great place with all-round bathing opportunities. One section even has a shallow sandy beach for children. The sanitary buildings are all new, clean, but without frills. It's not far to Umag and Piran. There are konobas, fish restaurants and pizzerias for every taste all around. We were looking for peace and quiet and a nice sea for swimming and found it here! We were there with our car and tent: there are plenty of shady spots, the tent was on the forest floor - very pleasant! The pebbly and rocky beaches are typical... of Croatia - which is exactly what we wanted. The sea was wonderful! The campsite is located on a headland. The small fishing village of Savudrija is within walking distance - there is a small harbor and three nice restaurants with very good food (including views of beautiful sunsets!). On the first night, there was disco music in the evening from a group of young people who were spending their vacation week in the campsite's huts. But it was over before midnight - the rest of the week was pleasantly quiet. There are spacious sanitary facilities that are kept in good condition. If you're looking for disco and entertainment, you're in the wrong place; if you're looking for a pleasant, clean, tranquil campsite with a great sea, this is the place for you.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

Unfortunately the weather threw a spanner in the works of our vacation plans and we had to leave early. The staff were very helpful and nice. But now to the campsite: free choice of pitch, sanitary facilities were clean, but only lukewarm water for showering late in... the day. The restaurant is more of a fast food restaurant. The pitches, some parceled out, some free, are large and many have a sea view. You can choose between sunny, semi-shady and shady pitches. An oasis of peace during the week, this changes at the weekend with permanent and short-term... campers. Within the campsite there is an area which is sometimes rented out by the campsite management to groups who have nothing to do with the campsite. During our stay there was a two-day festival (not announced to the campers) whose visitors came from outside and had nothing to do with the campsite. For two nights, until around 5 a.m., the site was shaken by booming music. The manager seemed to be more concerned about the rental income than the well-being of the young families and senior citizens who were there. The campsite is highly recommended, especially for families with children, the free pitches are ideal as the children have plenty of space to play ball etc... our regular restaurant in savudrija is... also praiseworthy, you always get freshly prepared food. you can also take a leisurely walk to the lighthouse and walk back to savudrija via basanija (here you can make a stopover at the ice cream parlor). umag is also a beautiful town, with lots of great local shops, and you can walk along the harbor and do some shopping. There is also a market with fresh fruit and vegetables. In katoro there are water slides for the children, you can also go jet skiing or banana boating. The campsite is busy with youth groups, especially the free pitches are a blessing compared to most other campsites. Extended weekend in June 2014. Surprisingly little going on. Free choice of pitch. We chose one right by the sea and on the west side with a view towards the small harbor of Savudrija (5 min walk) and into the sunset (!!!!). In the harbor there is a small store and 3 restaurants... (great fresh fish!), there are also several restaurants in the other direction. Great walking route by the sea towards the lighthouse and beyond. Next time we'll take the bikes with us, it's really practical there. The sea is rather shallow, so make sure you wear bathing shoes. Good, fairly new sanitary facilities. Price for 2 people with tent and car with pitch directly by the sea and without electricity, in June: approx. 33 euros per day.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

The adjacent harbor is only used by small fishing boats and is therefore as clean as the waters of the Adriatic. I was here for the sixth time this year. Unfortunately, although the cleaning ladies make every effort, the sanitary facilities are very, very modest. This is also due to the fact that rowdy young vandals always smash everything up during the summer months.... What a pity. If you are looking for a place where you don't have to stand close together, but want to do real free camping, this is the place for you. You'll love the place, just like me by the way. How much longer? Sites like this are rare. There are (only) a few squirrels running around here. Instead of water bananas and noise, there is peace, relaxation and quiet here. If, instead of nature, you prefer to look at the neighbors and their habits in their great, eternally identical hobby caravans, you will certainly like the camping (pen) next to it, near the lighthouse, better.
