"To expensive - The place is way to expensive you have to pay for water on the beach is a shower it also costs. The dinner at the restaurant is to expensive for pizzas that are not much! Over all you should'n go there!!!

"Good place with small weaknesses - We were there for a week at the beginning of October with motorhome and dog - very nice and lovingly laid out place mainly intended for vacationers with tents or those who rent a bungalow. However, due to the sheer size of the site (which is very large), there is also enough space for motorhomes.) There are 65 steps to the bay (some of them a bit high) - so you should be reasonably good on foot. Also well suited for dogs, as you can go for a walk or hike from the site (very fascinating coastline - definitely take a walk). The only downside is the sanitary building. Very nice at first glance, new... ...but in detail it is difficult to use, as there are no shelves anywhere (washbasins, showers, toilets).

"Rental accommodation is miserable - The rental accommodations (chalets) are a big disappointment and offer a miserable price-performance ratio. Absolutely NOT recommended. We rented a bungalow ("chalet") during the Whitsun vacations in 2022 (and unfortunately paid in advance). The "chalet" was an old dump with inferior, partly defective equipment. The mattresses of the beds were of the cheapest kind, just like the furniture and kitchen utensils, which were only sparsely available. Crockery and glasses were also limited to the bare essentials. The bathroom didn't seem to have been renovated for 30 years. The toilet seat broke the first time we used it. We even had a better shower on the ferry. In general - talking about "premium" on the website is a joke and deliberately misleading. We wanted different accommodation straight away, but the chalets are all equally shabby. The chalets have the comfort of south-east Asian backpacker accommodation for the price of Swiss 4-star apartments. An outrage. Although the campsite itself is nicely laid out, it is run-down and makes a neglected impression. The bar unintentionally exudes 80s charm (although the prices are "modern"), the "restaurant" is a cheek, the supermarket only offers the bare essentials at pharmacy prices. Internet (Wifi) is available in the bar and reception area, otherwise not even 3G. The organization and administration is cumbersome. On the homepage and on Facebook/Instagram the place presents itself as a "glamping" facility. The reality is truly different. We cannot recommend this site. The location of the campsite is relatively remote, it is about 30 minutes by car to Alghero, otherwise there is not much except beaches nearby. The coastal area around the campsite is picturesque and beautiful. The pool area is also simple, but well-kept and tidy.

Equipped with swimming pools, tennis court, children's …play areas, animation and a mini club, the Camping Village Torre del Porticciolo is particularly suitable for those who want to spend an unforgettable holiday of sun and sea, fun and history, in the environs of the fabulous city of Alghero. The Camping Village overlooks a wide, beautiful bay on the north-west coast of Sardinia. 10 kilometres from the Alghero-Fertilia airport and 20 kilometres from the port of Porto Torres, the site is 15 kilometres from the historic, walled centre of Alghero with its Gothic-Aragonese churches, a Catalonian city, island within the island. Inside the Porto Conte Natural Park, the village faces onto a crystalline sea which at sunset takes on the colours of fire, with the Aragonese tower erected on the promontory to defend the bay and the Mediterranean scrubland with its scents of wild flowers and herbs. All of this is surrounded by dense pinewood with maritime pines, juniper, strawberry trees, myrtle, mastic and dwarf palms. The extraordinary beauty of the landscape in the area makes Torre del Porticciolo an unforgettable place, particularly suitable for those who want to spend a holiday of sun, relaxation, nature and fun in the environs of the suggestive city of Alghero, the most important tourist centre on the Coral Riviera. The famous Neptune's Grottos, the largest underwater cave complex of the whole Mediterranean, are just 10 kilometres from the Camping Village. The Grottos may be reached by sea, leaving from the port, or by land, climbing down the Escala del Cabirol, from where it is possible to take in the panorama over one of the most beautiful seas of Sardinia, from the enchanting bay of Porto Conte, passing the city of Alghero, through to the southern coast of Bosa. You can find the most beautiful beaches of the city of Alghero the coast of which stretches for about 80 Km really close to the camping village. Amongst the most famous are the Lazzaretto and Bombarde beaches, as well as the Mugoni and Porto Ferro beaches, which are an ideal destination for those who prefer windsurfing and sailing sports in general.
